Dawes - "All Your Favorite Bands" (Live at WFUV) 

I think that "May all your favorite bands stay together" is one of the sweetest sentiments I've ever heard.

My favorite songwriter. Maybe the best songwriter of my generation... Taylor Goldsmith.

Few songs have touched me like this song does. Friends absent, friends lost...and friends right here, right now. Forty years drops away like nothing, and I am back with the people I worked with at my first job at Kings Island. Thanks, Dawes.

I can't put into words how this song makes me feel, or what it means to me, but I thank the members of Dawes from the bottom of my heart for it. Their music is truly transcendental to me.

Another song for Dawes-I never get tired of. I saw this band at Summer Stage in Central Park last summer. Ended up going by myself at the very last minute -It was the best time I've had in years and years at any concert. Right in front of the stage-The whole crowd -we were singing out at the top of our lungs. So fun ....these musicians are really talented -A great memory-THANK YOU.

I heard the Dawes sing this live at a concert with my dad six years ago. As soon as the opening lines were sung, my dad looks at me, smiles, and goes “this, is going to be a great song”. And he was right.

Taylor is the best around, a literate genius of idea, thought, expression and melody

EXCELLENT! I am a newcomer to this band, but - bad pun coming up! - a serendipitous find on RU-vid opened up new DAWES!! As I posted on the FB page - I'm a fan! I live in Durban, on the east coast of South Africa. I'm pretty sure that there not many people, if any, that know of DAWES. I shall try to change that in my circle.
