I think what happened was it looked like there were four rexes when in reality it was two packs of two. They should have made sure there was a distinct separation between them, can't really fault the admin for doing admin things.

I mean he was breaking a rule. His pack (gabriel) was hunting the same herd as the yellow rex. How would you like it if 3-4 rexes attacked you? Its overkill, and the rules are in place to make sure that its fair and that there aren’t just giant apex packs going around killing everyone and ruining your 7 hours of progress.

We are talking about a pack of 4 rexes and a megaherd of 35+ dinos. No mater what You may try to use as an excuse - it des not change the fact that it's absurd. Furthermore, no other Carnivore has such strict restrictions despite some being even more dangerous as a large pack than 4 rexes.

Many in this comment section is flaming the admin. Despite the admin didn't do anything wrong. Many seem to blame the admin for the aggressive chat from other in-game players. Seriously grow a brain! The admin never banned anyone. The admin did exactly what he was supposed to do. Keep Apexes from making packs. Sheesh! Beaver is overreacting HARD trying to make the chat look dramatic. Beaver could have EASILY solved the whole situation by putting a lot of distance between himself and the other rex.

@@underthemask4466 herbivores in the late cretaceous and pretty much everywhere else used to travel in large numbers, possibly in the hundreds. but yes, beaver and his friend being split up was unrealistic.

On the server he was playing on there are “realism” rules. Apexes like T-rex, spinos and gigas can only group in pairs because they’re so powerful. Also certain herbivores (hadrosaurs and ceratopsians) can’t herd together because they’d be too powerful. It’s to try and keep things as fair as possible.

He didn’t fight the herd, he was just there for content

I agree that he wasn’t doing anything malicious and wasn’t breaking any major rules. But there are rules on servers like this that he should be aware of. That’s just how servers like this are.

On some servers rexes have pack limits, and to some admins multiple rexes so much as being in the same general vicinity means they're all packing together. Assuming the rex pack limit is 2, the only possible "rulebreak" I saw in this video was Beaver and Gabriel jumping in to help the yellow rex when it was hunting, but...Beaver didn't even bite. And of course the admin got there later, didn't see everything, then just jumped to conclusions >_>

After they get the kill on the trike at the end, fishfilet chatted "move beaver" and then went to eat the food. Shortly after, you can see where he says "It's my food now ;)" and I would have ate him on the spot

To be fair, it's expect that everybody playing in the server have read the rules...

People like this (Over enjoyment of being able to throw small amounts of power around) rarely ever learn from their mistakes. It's one thing for an admin of any kind to address/look into a complaint of rule breaking but another entirely to REEEE in chat as soon as a person says a rule was broken.

But it's very rare to have more than one species flocking together and working to protect each other like the herbivores in the videos. That should be what the admins should be against.

And to be fair you can't tell who is grouped together or not when they are together in the same area, that's why the admin told them to split up, but beaver and Gabriel could still be together, just needed to go away from the other rex group. Maybe the admin could've been more clear with that

A good admin is supposed to observe the situation, find out the problem from both points of view (this one being confused rexes and terrified herbivores), then handle it in a polite and respectful manner (it's not like they won't comply unless they want to get banned), not jump in aggressively demanding people to do as you say without even listening to their side, _then_ finding out what went wrong. The admin could have handled the situation better.

I think they were being a bit snippy. Just repeatedly telling him to split up without saying anything about why. He could have said "You can't have this many rexes in a group, you need to split up. Two rexes max." and then let them sort out who was going to go with who. I think Beaver might also have still been in a group with that other rex that they met at the river that they never actually spoke to (Gabriel said something about it being 'suspicious behavior' or 'acting strange') and then they never spoke to that rex again. Admin definitely didn't have to demand that Beaver and Gabriel be the two to split. What about all those other rexes around? Why weren't they being yelled at to leave the area? I feel like he saw a big name he recognized and got onto a power trip to boss around a "big youtube star" to make himself feel high and mighty. ALSO. No one ACTUALLY KNOWS how T-Rex behaved. Predators have been known to tolerate the presence of each other in modern times when there's an abundant herd/hunting to be done, and sometimes even to WORK TOGETHER, even though they've never met before. The best example I can think of right now is Grizzly Bears. They won't tolerate each other's presence most of the year, but during the salmon run, they pack in together in order to get to the abundant amount of fish. They'll scuffle if they get too close to each other, but they're FAR more tolerant than usual. Rex's might have done the same kind of thing. No one knows. We weren't there. Making up random arbitrary hard set rules about behavior is just dumb.

@@Palitato Someone gets it. I somewhat doubt Rexes were purely solitary creatures. It'd make sense for them to have a small pack, maybe to only kick out other adults besides their partner and have juviniles hunt alongside them because they're a bit smaller and therefore more manouverable. So you'd have 2 adults and a juvi or two max.

I learned quick Adult rex slow abd steady wins the race. Got killed today by a adult rex pair though. ;_; I saved my friend rex I met up with though.

Asura is no place for a solo rex, or even for a small group. Chances are you'll get wiped by a clan of theris, spoons and other rexes. I've only ever enjoyed solo play on Asura when playing as a carno, so I'm fast enough to not have to deal with the mega pack BS.

No admin didn't. YOU are jumping to conclusions about the admin. Only other players accused them of being a pack. The admin did what he was supposed to do - keep Apex carnis from making packs. There is NO WAY for a bystander to see who is grouped with who in a group of 3 or more Rexes. Obviously they have to split up to make it OBVIOUS who is grouped with who. Which is exactly what the admin did. The admin never insulted, accused, banned, or abused his power. I see so much bandwagon here I'm disgusted!

Beaver did nothing wrong, but the other rexes did rulebroke. And people can't tell who is the wrong rexes since there's so many in the same spot. The admin did it right, just asked them to split, since try can't be that many. And simple asked for a report so it could be handled better before taking any punishment. The server got rules, and you gotta know them if you want to play there, and no one is being forced to join the server
