So…I’ve watched this vlog, oh about ten times, trying to get up the nerves to try one. My cup is spinning with the epoxy over the seeds. Tomorrow’s the day, if no rain. LOVE this one. Wish me luck all 🤞🏼
I'm new to your channel love your video n your technique on this N explained so very well, I'm gonna try this technique soon, ty for sharing sweet friend
As usual another beautiful cup! I love your decal ❤ That pink glitter of yours is truly beautiful....I am a pink and orange girl and that has a great blend.
Man oh man I don't know how you do so many one of a kind beautiful designs 😍 you are always topping you yourself! ❤ I just love this one (I know I always say that) but for real! When I get back from CO. I am jumping in with both feet!
I can’t even express how much I love this tumbler! Fun, bright, summery 💗. And I your voice is so soothing. I had to mention it, as I think it every time I watch one of your amazing tutorials
This looks like it was so much fun to make🍉💚 I love how you did the different colored seeds and used the 2 greens with the white for the rind. It all came together so well🥰
@@SandysOrganizedChaos I was sooo upset and worried I would nit get them. We have been having so many problems with USPS…they have been showing in the tracking info that packages have been delivered when they’re not. You should have seen my hubs last week…he was waiting on some high dollar grass seed and they showed it delivered…when it didn’t ! It was a nightmare ! But anyhoo…just glad I got it yesterday.
Hi Sandy I don't know why I can't get this powerwash thing down. I've taken off the paint several times. I'm using the clear powerwash instead of the blue. Do you think that has anything to do with it? Please say YES . . . at least I'll feel better. I'm also doing a watermelon cup. Is it better to use flat paint because mine is gloss? Just looking for any pointers. Thanks Donna
I’ve seen others have this issue as well. So you aren’t alone! I found if you stack too much paint on top of another wet paint I could wash all that away. Are you using the 2x coverage paint by Rustoleum? I absolutely recommend it. You can do thinner coats on top of each other and not have any issues. Hopefully! I don’t know if you noticed but I did a quick thin line for my white so the lighter green could stick better. If I would’ve loaded the white on the lighter green would’ve washed all off that area. You will get some paint that washes off, that is normal. I really hope this has helped you out! You got this ❤️❤️
Hello. This is such a cute summer cup. I gave it a try and my paints have a bit of a texture to it (not smoothe). Is this because of the water?? It's almost like water droplets from the wet paint drying. Is this normal??
That is perfectly normal. There will be some spots where the water drops leave marks. I don’t mind them I feel it adds to it. Once you apply your epoxy they will smooth out and hardly be visible.
@@SandysOrganizedChaos thanks so much for the response. I also thought it have it a little more character, but wasn't so sure it was normal. It was my 1st powerwash, so I assumed I did something wrong lol
May be the oils in the paints or inks. I use Rustoleum 2x Semi Gloss spray to seal the paints before I epoxy. It gives the epoxy something to grip to and will help prevent fisheyes.
Thank you for wanting one! I don’t make made to order tumblers at this time. But I know there is an amazing tumbler artist who would love to make one special just for you 🤗 I will have some ready to ship tumblers made in the next couple of weeks but I’m not sure yet of this will be one.
No need to be nervous. I wet sand when there is a lot I have to do. It just makes it less messy. All you do is hold it under a faucet with the water running and sand it. Then dry it off really well when you’re done. I don’t don’t do the all of the time. If I just have real light sanding on the rim to do I just do it regularly and wipe it down with a tack rag to get dust off. How ever you feel comfortable sanding, do it that way. 🤗
@@SandysOrganizedChaos it won’t scratch the resin will it ? Just smooth out the chunks ? Great video by the way I’m learning so much you are nothing less than amazing Thank you
