As a 14 year old Christian who’s going through depression and people telling me that I’m lying for attention I found god. I’m still a Luke-warm person because the questions he won’t tell me I just don’t know if it’s all just a lie or a real thing idk but if your reading this just pray for me. I really need the prayers right now.
I think you should look into/research agnosticism/agnostics. I’m not putting any label on you, but just to be open gs you may have not heard of before.

Your abuse hurts and will probably continue hurting but this will make you a stronger person. Your bravery and strength to hold on will be rewarded in the future. Don’t give up now because there is so much out there worth living. If you die, you’ll never experience the joy and happiness of life. You’re your own jury, your own judge. Don’t look at others. Only look at yourselves because you matter. You always have, ever since you were born, and you always will. “Every child deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a child.” You aren’t the monster. Whoever is torturing you is. Love yourself and others will love you. Respect yourself and other will respect you. “Your abuse is your glory” as Citizen Soldier has said in one of his songs. Your abuse is your glory and the story you will write in your future. No one is like you. God makes everyone different and if you die. Your uniqueness dies with you. No one wants that. If your loved ones can’t see that then they are not truly your loved ones. There is no one else like you. Don’t think you are inferior. Everyone is the same. What matters is what’s in your heart, nothing else. Remember that and live your life to the fullest so one day, you can look back and say “I really did it all.” Live life with no regrets and leave this world happily knowing you experienced everything you’ve ever wanted. Karma will punish those who’ve hurt you and Karma will reward you for your glorious bravery. You’re the next generation and the warriors of this world. You’re special. I'm a Christian. Born and raised in a Christian family. Baptised by 15. In my journey of spiritual growth,I had to question and actually pay attention. I believe in having a personal relationship with God and choose to walk with him. And a real relationship means being honest with all the questions we have when things get dark. I believe God still talks to us.

I listen to this song at least 100 times and I cry every time he makes so much sense what’s wrong he’s telling him what the problem is and it’s just like anything else nobody listening. People can make it in this world. They’re the ones that are being greedy and taking everything for themselves. They’re old they’re gonna die, but they’re greedy. We could help out every country right now. Nobody in this world should be hungry at the end of the day, we could just choose not to. It’s a little under the bed and I’m tired of it. As a converted Catholic, I respect what he's saying a lot. God encourages us to ask questions, and a lot of these are hard questions. The answers are out there. They're not always the answers we want, but they are there. One of the priests I've known for around four years told me it's okay to swear to God, and even to be angry with Him. "It's okay to be angry with God. After all, every family is angry with each other at some point. Just don't be so angry you're not capable of loving them too."

@@nova_soda27 I'm not agnostic. My problem is with the church, the institution ran by flawed people. I have no doubt in God; I have doubt in people. I do understand why some people are atheist or agnostic. People choose to believe other things. Churches harm alot of people sadly. I believe everyone has the right to believe what they want. I've thought thoughts and dealt with reasoning on my personal. I came to the conclusion that I believe in and trust in the Abrahamic God. I have Christian beliefs. This sounds like a lot of my conversations with God. Literally every question/thought in this song, is shit I think about all the time and shit I’ve said praying and talking to God. So many times I question if i believe but I must if I’m still talking to him. This song hits so deep.

Religion isn't something I want or need but a relationship with God is what I have. Faith is not visible nor does it need to be. Walk by faith not sight. Trust God for the right path to walk. After losing my daughter to stillbirth 4 months ago this is the only song that helps me fight out of the numb darkness my mind has created to protect me from the depth of depression I’ve sunk to. This song makes me cry. And that says a lot. I haven’t been able to cry in so long.

I have always felt jealous of people that claimed they felt a connection with God. I have never felt anything and I have tried. I’ve prayed in times of hopelessness and looked towards him in moments of being lost, I have never felt shit. Guess I’m destined to find comfort in darkness.
