In his case the most likely reason is that due to not having a US SSN or even ITIN, bro is paying taxes to the CRA in Canada, thinking they're the IRS, mixed up with the US Treasury. Cutesy Canadian activities, the IRS don't play like that if you're a individual with a SSN, regardless of where in the world you are you better file every year, or be making zero money.

LISTEN, that was the very first time I've ever heard dax spit. If his last 10 years was anything like this song,.... Then I feel left out. As much as I like Dax and hope he doesn’t quit hip hop, I have to say, as an artist, I completely understand where he’s coming from. I make pretty good music myself and to keep it real, it pisses me off when I have individuals that try to downplay me as an artist simply because I don’t glorify the foolishness in my music. People on the outside don’t really understand how it feels to be an artist who puts their all into their craft only for it to be under appreciated and overlooked in favor of the meaningless garbage that sells. Yeah exactly like you said it you might not like him, but he is skilled af. First time I heard him I was totally baffled by his overal preformence he got skills, entertaining energy, a message and its all awesomely packed together for such unknown artist. Havent listened to him in a while and again im blown away, there is so much to unpack in these lyrics I get too overwelmhed to actually do it.
