Reflecting back on this song, I'm evaluating it completely differently. Two weeks ago I really liked the complex wordplay and double-entendres in the first three "quarters", but now upon like the 20th or so time listening, I find myself appreciating the powerful message on the last "quarter" a lot more. It's driving the listener thanks to its realness but maybe even more thanks to the sheer 6th-gear nitro-drive Dax exerts here. It's not just childish rebellious two-liners (which sadly even GOATs like Eminem sometimes dish out), there's a scheme and an overarching message to perceive and interrogate. Damn it Dax, I don't have that many hours every day to dissect lyrics, stop making them so wonderful and addictive! (j/k, never stop the grind)
