Thank you very much for everything!!! you are being a great help. I have a doubt that for example if I have two rows, one for revenues and the other for collections and I have selected January, I want to get the sales value in the revenue row but when I have selected January and February I will pass the sale that I had in revenue to collection in January. Greetings!

Hi Ruth Im new to power bi, and your videos really help. I wanted to know if i would like to rollup by sales but ONLY the sales rollup needs to be an average. How would I do that?

Hi Ma'am. Is it possible to fix rank even if drill down my chart. My problem statement is - I have to show weekly data points in my chart with top 5 brands. I have created rank based on whatever filter is there on the page and passed that measure to chart level filter having values less than or equal to 5. page has no week level filter. Now, whenever I drill down chart to week show week level data, it starts showing top5 brands for every week. Could you please help me out with this. Also, is it possible to create rank on Grand total of a matrix? If not then is there any way I can create a total column?

Ruth, We are missing the very bottom of the example screen near the end of the video. I believe there are a few 'True's at the bottom, but we can only see one.

Ruth, Had you elaborated about some of the use cases, it would have been even more useful, because a novice cannot understand himself alone looking at the explanations. At least, I came to see some use cases for these. Especially, I have lot of confusion about the similar uses of CROSSJOIN, SUMMARIZE, ADDCOLUMNS etc. OK anyways good effort, Ruth. Hey Ruth, i am learning Dax, i think we should not use a measure for new column expression in summerize functions. We use measure in addcoulmn function for new column expression to make a fllter context. Here summerized rows works as filter context. . So we can directly use like Sum(.....) So that it will not carry a calculate function.
