Religion is a man-made creation not to be confused with Faith. The Roman Catholic Church is the first and largest example of organized crime. For generations, the church only wrote the New Testament in Latin because they knew the average man couldn't read it for themselves. They were forced to take the Priest and their interpretation as fact instead of reading and deciding for themselves. I was looking for a new church a while back and I went to one that 2 Sundays in a row where they spent the entire sermon on tithing. Told us if we couldn't afford our tithing, we were living beyond our means and didn't deserve God's love. I loathe organized religion, I only go to churches looking for a good community (hard to find when sober).
