Jeffry’s comment about VAR is that they are not variables at all, they are immutable constants. This is why he doesn’t like the term VAR and this is why he fought for a different name.

Can i ask a question to Jeffrey? What if i want to aggregate one expression which is from add-columns on the cover, can i use summarize or summarizecolumn to achieve that purpose? So far i only see groupby can do it now.
