they should've had something similar to VATs at least, idk how you can be so oblivious to think that your game has good enough shooting without it. They wouldn't keep VATs as is, probably because its a think thats meant to only exist in the Fallout universe, but shit, they should've had at least maybe a slow mo, or some kind of ability from filling up a gauge or something to help combat.

Don't support them until they fire Emil and restructure. The way they make games is completely counterproductive and all the funding in the world won't stop their development teams from working at cross purposes until they actually admit failure and start using proper documentation. I'm 100% serious, the lead writer is PROUD of the fact that he doesn't document his work. I think that alone explains a lot about Bethesda's issues.

Todd’s the game design director and has been for 20 years if anyone knows whether or not the games optimized. It would be him it was just another of his sweet little lies.

They did hire some modders but the studio is so poorly structured that they couldn’t actually make a difference.

The actual gamepleay in starfield amounts to maybe 10% of the game. There is so much wasted time. Sure not every quest has to involve combat but at least make those interesting. Worst was the story mission on mars. Go finish a project to wipe away the debt of a scientist. Ok I go to the place kill pirates finish it go back and wipe away the debt. ok but where is he? Oh back in the place I just was behind a locked door? Why didn't you tell me this when I finished the project and was still there? Fuck who ever thought that was a good idea?

Paid mods are not a bad idea modders deserve to be paid for good content the problem with bethesdas paid mods is, is it worth the price for a couple spells.

Honestly it always baffled me when ppl say Bethesda games have good gunplay. I mean I get it on some level. You got VATS, you have stats and other things games like say CoD don't have but gunplay is really just does shooting feel fun and when you need a mechanic that aims for you to make the shooting good, that's bad gunplay. Mind you I grew up on fps games so might be a bit bias but if I play a game like Half-Life 2 or even Quake 2 at least the gun recoil and bullets firing actually line up with no input delay. But yeah, I agree with him although I will also say you stack it up with a game like F.E.A.R, that's a high bar to overcome even though F.E.A.R was 2005.

The "76 is 10x better" is not true it is just said by people who have been playing for years and have grown numb to how bad 76 is. 76 is at most 20% better than it used to be, the story updates added is just as bad as Bethesda stories have been and will be.

Dude, stop saying Bethesda's a good company. They were, a long time ago. They stopped being good over a decade ago. Stop holding hope for their next game and look elsewhere. They are actively refusing to change.
