What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for RU-vid, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. and the game hasnt improved at all lol. I have been around since early release before steam and it has only gotten worse and completely changed directions every time it gets an update. And you guys are too scared of the the developers to call out their BS so you blow smoke up their asses lol.

Man, haven't seen your content in years, mostly because I haven't had the time to really sit down and watch long-form episodic content, but when I heard 7 Days got its 1.0 update, had to check to see if you were makin' a video on it for old times' sake. After all, your videos were my introduction to the game so long ago.

It is the buried supplies that the zombies spawn in. It is random until you open the chest, then they will spawn in. But that was before the update so I don't know now.

I think since it said starter buried supplies, they prob don't spawn on it, but t1 and t2 ones they did.

It's all crafting now, books don't help find gear like they used to. Never gonna find a level 6 anything. Need "epic parts" now or whatever they're called.

Same here. Skyrocketet Playtime after joining a Public Private server with events etc. from 700 to 3383 hours. Sad that the Serverowner started to develop interest into Ark Q_Q

I've based in that house you marked HQ2, makes a good starter base, garden on roof, main crafting/storage in attic, lots of room once you clear out attic and easy roof access thru the hole already there.

When you went up the stairs at 29:20 to the right of the stairs were two broken pieces of wood, if you break those there is a weapon bag inside. Also I don’t think clothes are in the game anymore unless they were turned into mods. The weather resistance is on armor pieces now.

I didn’t know the trade place could be looted, I vaguely played this on console so long ago. Been wanting to re try this game now that it’s been updated but just felt overwhelmed since I don’t know what I was doing. This video has been great on pointers. Thanks!

the thumbnail madae me realize the next type of blocks for atmosphere they should add. bushes and wines. which would be so great for atmosphere and act both as a hidingspot for sleepers and wilds, similar to trees but more effective at close range. and wines, on some pois more than others, would act as ropes, but perhaps be slower, and have a chance of midclimb collpase. but most importantly it would make the world, and cities especially look way better, and more post apocalyptic. dont have to be a huge change but some throughout would do wonders.

On my 4th or 5th day a pack of about 10 dogs randomly ran up on me and killed me... I hadn't even seen a wandering horde yet at that point. Felt like I was playing Ark

If you followed the instructions at the top right of the screen it would have tracked each of the first row of challenges in order and told you to redeem at the end.

you dont get dusters in this game anymore they removed all the clothes and redone them with the clothing sets so now armor and clothes are one. also your storage chest outside trader is an odd way to play im 1,400.6 hours in this game and never done that. always collect everything early game few junk items throw away but u need everything for later game. i dont like the way traders are so far apart and now have their own loot. makes me have to travel too much and bike and mini bike so slow

I agree, though I feel like it's a copout. The new character models and armor and a few additions is not that huge over a21. They're still at least a year away from adding the story and raiders and such that they promised for 1.0 More than anything, I'd love to see real optimizations to run better frames in t5 pois or late game stage hordes. It's cpu heavy and hard to get over 30 fps in a late game horde

Kage848 - if you are just after workstation book (Forge Ahead), it’s better to put the point into the Skill: Lock Picking then the Skill: Advanced Engineering to start with.

What you didn't mention Kage is that compared to previous version your playing on Insane Difficulty since they upped the Z HP's and damage with some as high as 125% HP

The number of times I have found treasure OUTSIDE the first yellow area or in the complete opposite direction that the dings first lead you. Don't know if they are f-ing with you or if it is a bug.

I lived in the mausoleum in one game. I thought it was great not least because it already had an outer perimeter wall, and once the small buildings were removed a great area for farming etc

In regards to zombies spawning... it has a chance to happen when its buried supplies, doesnt happen when its buried treasure.

if you use rock busters before harvesting anything be it tree, dirt or ore you will get more from them which can be great for building big bases.

No zombie looting? You leave ammo when you don't have the gun, and when you find a gun you don't have enough ammo. Take ammo and stock it up, when you have the gun you have loads of ammo. Think like a chess player, further steps ahead.

Kage if you want forge ahead books put points in lockpicking not advance engineering lockpicking only ups forge ahead mean while advance engineering ups wiring, tools, traps, and forge ahead
