I really hope people can now understand the importance of proper maintenance on your equipment. The costs of operating are high but breakdowns during operations are extremely higher. The new units are working out great as well as the drivers. Lol! You got a good team there! Keep rocking those fields!

Man Andy! You are one talented summelbeach. When I tell people about your channel I have to let them know you have four arms, eight hands, six eyes, and two brains and can coordinate them all while multi tasking. You truly are amazing.
BTW! I think it's my one year anniversary of watching FF&F! September 2020 corn chopping is when I first watched your channel. Great channel! Thanks Andy!
Cron chopping is one of my favourite thing to watch. Even when I was young I'd sit in the cab of my neighbors IH 1066 turbo with a pull type new Holland chopper on the back and have a blast watching it work. My mom would have to come get me for bed time.

Awesome video and the chopper continues to be a beast, like a monster Pak-man. Lol The new trucks look great too. Thank you for sharing, good luck, stay safe and peace out.
Well I was going to leave a comment about how awesome the drone shots were, and the multitasking of chopping and flying, but there’s already a bunch of those comments so I’m just gonna say you’re a badass and leave it at that. pretty cool seeing the two new freightliners out there and your daughters driving. Take it easy man awesome video like always.
@@FarmingFixingFabricating I noticed tonight the sun sets pretty quick. By 730 I’m about out of time. The drone shots still came out really good though, actually the nighttime shots with the lights on the chopper and the trucks look really cool too
Love all the vids but really love the chopping vids. Also you should do another load from the field to the farm of Jared’s truck like you did last year.
Do a video of the girls chasing you down to get loaded and haul back to the farm to the pit bunkers. Andy when do you have time to sleep you answer my comments at 10 11 at night and at 3 or 4 in the morning. You should get more sleep Be safe and have a great harvest !
I am amazed at much corn you can put through these large choppers at one time now. Andy, are you close to using 100% power most of the time while chopping?
How can you run the chopper keep the spout at the correct position so the corn gets in the truck and fly the drone in the dark all at the same time? Amazing! It sure beats the 2 row Fox chopper and pulling wagons with 2 cylinder John Deers. Thats how we did it years ago!
Y'all make it look so easy... Need to loan one of your tandems to Chris over at Duffy Ag. He keeps getting stuck. Having problems with bolts breaking in the head too. But he keeps plugging along...That chopper chute shoots corn like a fire hose. I think you are getting better with your aim too. You managed to keep most of it in the truck! Just ribbing you a little. You do a fine job.
Those new knives were really eating the corn. I counted at least 6 trains the one day I was working in Warners. Seemed like 1 an hour went through. I'd hate to live in that apartment house next to the tracks.
Hello from Alaska Andy A great video as usual thank you for your time. I will be waiting for the next one .😊 God bless you and your Family and crew. 🇺🇸🚜🇺🇸
Look at the load he’s shooting out of that spout. Bumper crops. Good thing you have that new bunk. Curious to see where the next ones going if this keeps up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Andy you and your family and workers all Rock 🎸 keep up all of the great work you all have been doing when ever I have time as an Essential worker i watch RU-vid videos but I never give any comments beacuse of my time I have o breaks and lunches Thank you kindly for the heart ❤ you have sent to me again bye 👋 from 🇨🇦 #YSW Andy you live in a beautiful area have a wonderful Saturday evening 😊 Domenico
You have great kids Andy I keep trying to get up to visit you and the farm I just can’t seem to get time or anything I’d like to come up before my birthday in December so that’s what I’m planning on anyway but here lately I’ve been running to Kansas City and back
Wait until all lights shut off after the gates go up. Why especially with 2 or more tracks. Once activited the gates can come down with no dealy. This is normal. It is also NYS Law! So if another train on the other track approaches from either direction the the motorist is given 20 seconds, advance warning of the train. I work on them every day, just wait those few seconds ir will save you and your equipment. :)
That was cool looking for the trucks when you are at one end of the field and they're are pulling in the field at the other end. Whose driving the new trucks Alex and Sarah ? Awesome video Andy of multi tasking in the field when it's dark !!!
Chopping corn and filling silo is easily one of the things I miss the most about growing up on a dairy farm in the late 60's. But WOW...the equipment advances made since then. Great video!!! Keep them coming!!
"More like piloting the Space Shuttle now" absolutely. Hard to work on such varied terrain as that as well...but not near as bad as Pennsylvania or Virginia...so darn good transmissions and drive trains.
Outstanding video - nothing fancy, no drama, just the basics being done well. The drone shots at the end really helped set this video off as excellent. Seeing the two new trucks at work must be satisfying for you (and their drivers as well). I think I recall those trucks being used as delivery trucks for construction materials. This means they were mostly used for road travel, maybe some construction site travel. However, you have them working in heavy load conditions in the field at field speeds. Yes, some road travel is included. But, the loading and hauling out of the field is a challenge on the drive train. How does final drive ratios work for these two different uses? When you had them in the shop, I do not recall you swapping out final drive gears for a high ratio.
Love watching these videos. Wished we had this kind of equipment when we were growing up. We pulled all our corn by hand and stored in corn crib lol we would have been in heaven with this type of equipment. Man how things have changed.
You must have MANY dozens of fields, scattered across miles of Central New York. How do you keep it all straight? Do you have spread sheets, or is it all kept in your brain?
WE SARTED SHELLING CORN MONDAY . RUNNING ALL 4 COMBINES . THE ENDLESS DAYS AND SLEEPLESS NIGHTS HAS STARTED AGAIN . CORN IS YIELDING GOOD SO FAR HERE IN SOUTHERN INDIANA .
Just curious why no tip tops....are you limited by axle weights when going from the field to the pit? Just when I typed this in you show up with a trailer with a set lol. First time I hauled silage I was 13.....C60 Chevy with a 4 and 2.....I was on top of the world.
Could you just imagine Gerry Nadler or Chuck Schumer performing ONE SINGLE ASPECT of this silage operation? But I actually COULD imagine Andy performing EVERY SINGLE one of the aspects of what Nadler \ Schumer are "supposed" to be doing.....and Andy would do THEIR jobs better than "they" do. You see folks.....that's the difference between "US" & "THEM".
Hi, I'm new to farming. How many tons do you get per acre? What would be the price difference of silage vs cattle grazing the corn field? Thanks in advance
I noticed Alex only has clearance lights on or a box on the driver side and none on the passenger side you should teach her how to fix that stuff LOL chances are she probably knows anyway ha ha
