- the broken door needs fixing, use the patch to fix it (same with broken chests) - I recommend that you build the location radar as the game ask you, it will make navigating a lot easier - many resources are story locked so if you don't follow the story you won't be able to get them, like the knife/crossbow (either resource or blueprint is located at story location) - try opening the studies menu (navigate through Tab), it lists all scannable items at location you visited, you usually don't want to leave the location until you scanned all of them (unless you can't access them because you missed an item in previous location or didn't follow the story) - dirty water can be used to water plants and its used as a priority if you have both clean and dirty water in your inventory - if you only follow the story you will miss some useful items at other locations but sometimes you can't access them without progressing the story so if you are getting blocked it's a good idea to focus on the story (also check the studies for any items that could open the path that you might have missed)

Love this game, haven't played the expansions since the first yet. Love to watch you go a lot further because I love your videos. Some non-spoiler tips and tricks. 1. Food is generally boiled everything or ration packs. 2 cookers/purifiers are handy. Each food has differing effects (I won't spoil this for you) 2. Ship will eventually be huge, and a good first investment in resources. My personal ship is a 3 balloon 7 wide x 12 long with 2 levels down the midline. You need hydrogen to build/expand balloons.. They are a pickup item like plastic/electronic etc. (The blue cylinders). In my personal build I have a large fantail deck at the back with condensers, lures, rain catchers because you usually nose in to a location, and that leaves them well over the edge for fishing. Do not fear landing on landing pads and large lily pads. (also room sections with yellow tape are open through till you build a wall, you can walk and fall through them) 3. Resources: you have a hand extractor, use it while on environments, you can use the deck extractors for wide exteriors, but for copper and locations you have to get into, hand extractor. I needs to be recharged, you can build a recharger and stick it in for a while. Same with ship builder and scanner - need charging (free from ship power). Tip: when scavenging the field desks there is a tray drawer in the upper right, don't ignore that location. There are advanced lured (you can build one now) for better fishing. 4. Resource locations: You have seen 2 kinds of lights so far - orange/red are general facilities (Comms, command stations, etc) and give you fuel, food, components. Blue/white - Wind farms - electronics, copper, helium You will also see other colors which are different types. The game is very forgiving... if you are stuck you can unstuck back to your ship. Please explore more, I've got limited time right now and would love to see you go on in the adventure.

your going to love it when you find your first elevator to go down under the dust. there is much more to find and explore now then there was when the game launched. remember to expand your ship with more balloons and more room for storage , plants, and items needed for your ship. . enjoy. cant wait for your next vid on this game.

this game has come a long ways since i backed it. so many great things to include combat with alliens and hydroponics and so many more poi's. i got some cool things in game for being a scientist level backer. cant wait for 1.0 to hit and to see it in a final product. hope u put out many more vids on the game. you will love it

From bitter experience: whenever you find a new resource, the first thing you should research is the blueprint that lets you make more of it. I think your Circuit Board situation can relate. :D You can check the Studies menu to see which resources spawn where; circuit boards are most commonly found at "wind farm" type towers (blue double light). Tech progression in this game is very tightly yoked to story progression. You have to do all of the story missions, in order, to get anywhere. For instance, making the Location Radar the quest is currently nagging you about, and following it to the location it will direct you to, will give you many new things....

Glad to see this game I got to do some testing for this game back before COVID it had been a while back then my PC crashed and had to stop testing . I need to look I may have been a founding member of this game also .....if you're looking for something different it is a game I recommend .

Pretty cool looking game.

your going to learn as you go with this game as it doesnt hold your hand. everything can be upgraded. find so many things in towers and under the dust. many things are for improving your ship/home . turbines for lift, engine for speed. in the late game your ship will be huge and you will have many storage boxes lol. pay attention to learning cures and to learn something then build it. have fun above all.

For those of you on console still patiently waiting... yes this is very similar to subnautica and like a dream come true... its also 4 player co op so if its your vibe get your friends in to join you in this new world.

i've noticed you kind of ignore a lot of quest lines in games and it probably hinders your game quite a bit. if I had to guess the weapons were probably after the navigation quest

Not my favorite. This game has no other humans or animals to interact with? Just find and put this here and put that there, seems a bit of a loner type game I am not interested in. Many of the other games you play I like.
