@@zach4279 not as far as I recall... you are a shark, jumping over obstacles, to eat humans. Getting progressively larger with each kill. But I only played the Initial release, the first update may have added other sharks...

Maybe they could let him scavenge it from one of the wrecked small boats and use sheet metal to repair it. It still would be meh, but in some universe it's more plausable.

@@MM1Anderson it would be more believable if he stripped an engine from something… combustion engines themselves are already black magic but to render it out of air😅? Not sure where he got “Ned’s declassified school survival guide” But apparently it’s the holy grail of survival guides 😂😂😂. Game has very cool mechanics but severally kills the atmosphere with the book and ease of building things.

Yeah, I get asset flip vibes from all over this title.

Not just the crafting but literally everything lol. I am not against it though since it's a pretty cool system. But the game will need a good story or something else to keep it fun besides just being "realistic" Honestly it looks more like it will be a chore than fun. I mean diversify your diet... Cool for people who like hardcore survival realism but it might be too much for me to handle.

After hearing him say Kimono I decided to google Komodo in a Kimono and the internet did not disappoint. 😆

I was both annoyed and amused by that flub. I had to test myself to see how similar we American's say them, and they are painfully similar and would definitely be tough to determine which we're saying to native speakers of Japanese, or other languages in general. I'm from the opposite corner of the north contiguous states from where Royal is from too, so different word whiskers, cadences and accents apply as well. Kih-mo-no (Kuh sometimes) for the dress and Kuh-mo-do for the dragon is how I say them. But TECHNICALLY there's still a SLIGHT difference haha. Still, I too enjoy eating a well cooked Kimono as my preferred underrated source of fiber in my diet. It's a colorful snack, after all.

That and rickets. Rickets, what a fun disease to obtain from lack of diversity and vitamins in one's diet. That's a whole different kind of depression though! _wheeze laughs in 1930s murica_

I agree, but that is after a LONG amount of time of just dried meats only. He was eating different meats, coconut, banana, and even an energy bar which usually has vitamins added all within a short amount of time in game and it still happened to him. These devs are taking features from other survival games with nothing new. The survival game, "SCUM" has an insanely complex vitamin/amino system forcing you to diversify your diet, but you can see every one of these nutrient levels in game and all of the food and drink items have labels that tell you what they contain so you know what to search for and ingest. This game just dumbed it way down, turned up the severity to super-max speed, and gave you no way of knowing what you are lacking. The human body by itself makes us crave the things we need. Such as salty, sweet, savory, liquids. (HINT to the devs).
