Day 1 in Atlantic City! June 2024! Ballys, Boardwalk, Caesar’s 

We went to Gordon Ramsey’s pub for my son’s birthday last November, he and my other son and husband had the special with beef Wellington, onion soup and the dessert pudding. I had the molasses ale wings and they were fantastic, try this restaurant if you have time .

Ill be visiting Harrah's there very soon for the first time. I'm so glad i found your channel and recent videos. The weather looks great so ill know how to pack 😂. Looks like I'll need to pack good walking shoes. Thanks for enlightening a newbie about AC.

The vacant pier across from Caesars was the Million Dollar Pier in the early '60s. They had an amusement park, with an Italian Village and a fishing pier at the end. They would raise the fishing net once a day and it was loaded with different fish. They sold some of the fish to nearby restaurants nearby. The Italian Village had excellent food with water ice and Italian coffee with pastries also. They were the best of times. Your videos are excellent also.

My friend and I stayed at borgata from May 28th through June 1st. $302 from Tuesday through Saturday. I love Atlantic City I go there every 3-4 months. Love the boardwalk and borgata

Just when you are leaving I will be having my first stay over since about a year ago at the Golden Nugget on Father's Day. It seemed like a great time to try and catch up on your 14 Day Stay in Atlantic City. I have a lot to go being this is just Day 1 and just starting on June 11th 2024. I think that music might have been coming from Bally's Beach Bar or Caesar's does play pretty loud music outside their casino Looks like you had a very nice first day of weather. I have stayed in the Dennis Tower at Bally's and you are right they are pretty beat up. I have never stayed at Caesar's as rooms are always too expensive. I remember when rooms were what you are paying for your resort fee and taxes. Those resort fees killed my frequent stays at AC especially since you have to pay them every night you stay. That really was an amazing view out on your balcony and what a great way to end your video. Well Day 1 down and 13 more to go. Have Fun Jennifer!

I just found your videos and remember Atlantic City before the casinos. The steel pier was the best with the diving horse. I remember they had first run motion pictures there. It was a wonderful family place back then!

Just an FYI, there are tons of local places like Cardinal, Rhythm & Spirits, etc. that do a fabulous brunch. As far as casinos go, Borgata is the place to go for brunch on the weekend. The price is currently $30.99 and they have EVERYTHING!

Hey Jen. I'm at Harrahs today Sunday and Monday. Then Golden Nugget this Wednesday thru Friday. Yeah, Ballys rooms other than the Ballys tower are Horrible. I had the cruise offer but didn't go because they wouldn't give me a comp room for that Ballys tower 😢 I've played at wild west casino and won some good hits!

I am jere now July 1st to kick off 4th of July. Staying in Tropicana. The weather is great for July. I like coming off season and exploring. Used to have a timeshare at Flagship Resort about 25 years ago. I sure enjoyed your vode as i just came back from Las Vegas and lime comparing Caesars. 🎉👍🏻

Caesars ac has a 10 point requirement for free parking. It takes around 10 minutes.

How times change. I can remember AC back in the mid 90's when Tyson had a few fights down there. Wall to wall people. Probably 3 to 4 times the amount of people in this video. Also, back then, casino security absolutely would not allow any photos or video. Having seen it in its heyday, Atlantic City (boardwalk area) is, and has been sad and shabby for the past 15 to 20 years. That being typed, the boardwalk does have "people watching" opportunities on par with Times Square.

Yes, you said on your last video you were going to go to Atlantic City. You got a free cruise last summer. If I recall Flagship does not have a casino on the property. Okay, this was made yesterday. Used to be a very nice place when Bally's actually owned it. Go to the Pub at St. James Place. Don't argue if you get a good deal. You are still young. Wait until you hit sixty. Wouldn't want a timeshare.

Great video. Can you please do a video of the rooms at the Irish Pub. The place is frozen in time from what I've read. Nobody has shown their rooms on RU-vid. I saw a very old video of their lobby and that's it.

The vue at Claridge at night. Check their happy hr. Have fun! Also, if you can access a movie while you're there watch Atlantic City with Burt Lancaster and Susan Surandan. 1980 Classic!!

The Borgata is the only place in Atlantic City that I would stay.

I won’t stay at Bally’s again until it’s fully renovated. I get a ton of comps and they always put me in Dennis Tower. It’s awful!!!

14 days at ac? Just to warn you there isn’t much to do around there besides walk the old and getting vacant Caesars like you just found or hang at the dirty beach lol.

Be careful while filming in casinos because the workers can suspect you of cheating.

Wild Wild West seems like such a waste of space and a long walk to get to boardwalk
