What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for RU-vid, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I bought this game after i saw the last season you played this, i am happy that you will start a new series, the video's of these kind of games are so chill!

this is one of my favorite games, I am quite happy you make a new series with it and also showing me that there is aparently a new update I missed. as for how to make money, if its still the same then hunting deer and bears was the best early game way to make money ( remember the cooler boxes to store a lot of meat in less volume, easier to transport). later on its pigs and cheese. since the last time I played farming was still inside the greenhouse and not on the land, I cant say if it earns money or not.

to fix the keys in beta Kage, you have to delete the "input.ini" %appdata%/../Local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor. Works for me.

@@embuikema - Press the windows button + R on the keyboard to open the run console - Type in %appdata%/../Local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor - Click ok - Delete the "input" file - Try the game again If that doesn't work, check the settings file to ensure it's in keyboard mode and not controller: - Press the windows key + R on your keyboard to open the run console - Type in %appdata%/../Local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor and press ok - Open input.ini file in a text editor. - make sure it says PlayerKeyGroup=(TagName="KeyGroup.KeyboardMouse"))

For easy and quick money - hunting, crop plots, and visit NPCS for quests and moola ETA: I've been playing the new update for a few days. And I'm saying OIL. The rigs are cheap to make and you can sell it for $500 a barrel. Quick money - wish I'd known about this before!

Sell your chickens at the start bec they don’t make you money quickly initially. Get pigs they will get you money quickly. And do the treasure of the ancient quest that gets you $2,500 once completed

they made the whole ranch smaller now and you can only cut trees on your ranch now too, and they put your 3 farm plots up front instead of way in the back by the mountains.

The quests did give you money when you installed the Radio you gained $250. I'm guessing it's there way of making sure you have enough money to do all the mandatory quests and Lso get some starting money to get up and running with your ranch

the new oil rig is a great passive income early on, just need to find the active one (or two) on your map (looks similar to the dirt patches around the map but with a black puddle in it)😉

A stupid addition to the game. What has oil got to do with running a ranch. Its supposed to be a ranch simulator, not an oil simulator. Completely different industries. Not to mention its a complete bugfest.

Im loving the update except for the change where you can only chop down trees on your own property, they made it so you can only chop down trees on your own property because of "hardware limitations surrounding the new stump feature" according to one of the devs on the official discord. It's awful bc I got my atv stuck on a tree and couldn't chop it down to get it out of my way like i used to do all the time. Hyped for the new sweies kage!

@Kage848 according to the discord they're saying not at the moment and they aren't sure if that will change. They're going to have to change something though, whether that's trees grow back or we can chop outside our property, or we'll be very limited in how much we can build...

i had a 2.0 multiplier on Pork, so culled all the pigs but left a couple pregnant ones, Pork to the Burger place, and my money shot up to over 10k. Felt bad doing it, but it's just a game. Also tried using that stun gun, but even crouching down, that thing doesn't work half the time

yeah the devs have to lighten the whole game play up because putting your gamma up makes everything fuzzy for now.

i cheat i kept restarting the game till i had the oil spot by the general store lol. and we call it a SUV lol, its the same map with a few roads added in town along with more buildings and best burger moved into town thats the only change beside predators have a longer aggro range right now and so do deers,
