NDN Collective in collaboration with Amnesty International USA, Indigenous organizers, and allies will be taking action in Washington, DC on September 12th - Leonard’s 79th birthday - to demand his freedom. Leonard Peltier, a citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians (ND), activist, member of the American Indian Movement (AIM) and elder, is the longest-serving Indigenous political prisoner in United States history.
