Hey lovelies! Welcome to a new Florida vlog series! This is vlog 1 which is technically day 1 but I can't promise they will be in days this year! They may just be ad-hoc vlogs!
Join me, Alex, Luka, Karen and Tomi in Orlando Florida for our trip from April 30th - May 17th 2024.
In this vlog we go to iHop for breakfast, onto Publix for a walk around and a little shop, we then head to Lake Buena Vista Outlets for a look around one of our favourite little outlet centres, afterwards we head to Disney Springs where we check out Summer House on the Lake's cookies and have Dole Whip from Swirls on the Water, we then finish the night off at Universal City Walk with a pizza from Red Oven Pizza Bakery.

I filmed the vlogs on my GoPro11 with the Volta Hand Grip and my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
We stayed on a resort called Terra Verde which is one of our favourite places to stay in Kissimmee!

Thank you! It’s one of our faves but super expensive. We didn’t make it there this year sadly. I miss the ribs 😢 😂

Swaddlers are just tighter and don’t blow out. They actually have a slightly different shape to stay on when babies move around.

How do you manage to go so frequently to Orlando? We will be going for our 4th trip in October next year, but we usually need 3 years to save. We’ll be staying at Pop century instead of Coronado springs this time. Any advice on how to get there more regularly is appreciated.

Technically Disney springs does have a plane but it doesn’t fly. It’s at the hanger bar. It’s more a display piece but you can get up to it and take photos. It’s jimmy buffet’s plane I think and it still has a bullet hole where he was shot at in Mexico once. It missed completely and hit the door frame. Although he was freaked out by it and left and never returned to Mexico. Disney bought the plane and it sits pretty much in that spot to this day. Also just a heads up the shark strung up at universal has a name, it’s Bruce, Steven Spielberg named it himself while the original animatronic shark used in the movie was named FUBAR as it always broke down and it was named that because it F***ed up all the time. It was turned to scrap after the movie as it messed up all the time and was rebuilt completely from the ground up for Jaws 2 which worked much better.

The plane you are thinking of is at Universal City Walk outside Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville restaurant. It’s called the Hemisphere Dancer. It was carrying U2’s Bono, his wife and kids when is was shot at by Jamaican police who mistakenly thought it was smuggling drugs, no one was hurt. Jock Lindsey’s hang out bar in Disney Springs is named after the pilot from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of The Lost Ark.

Gideon’s actually has a second location not at Disney simply go to downtown Orlando it’s right there no line no problems. Same cookies and cakes with zero line.
