I work with children in our school garden and they love to make create arrangements to give away. We thought why not make bouquets to sell for valentines day. Well, the response was shocking. I had to learn how to lengthen and design, cut, etc. Thanks this has been SO helpful!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I love the way you make the classes interesting with you "dry" sense of humor. I did a floral arrangement class about 28 years ago and your techniques are way better than what we learnt. I know things have evolved. Your work is AMAZING!!!!

This was quite pretty; I can see why domes are important! UK's squat design vs. taller US arrangements ... cracked me up! LOL Thanks for the good advice on conditioning hydrangea flowers with Alum & removing excess greens! Crowing glory spray is also a great hint! Line vs. mass flower type distinction is useful, as are the work-horses of the industry! x3 the flower cost + labor is a good pricing strategy! Criss-crossing is a great technique, while holding the bouquet up & switching hands.

I have an interview next week for a floral designer at one of my favorite flower shops. I have no experince but they are taking a chance on me! I have learned so much from your videos and im feeling so much more confident about the job now! My mom owned a flower shop when i was a kid, and i loved watching her do arrangements. She would get lost in her art. I hope i get to do the same!
