“I guess nurture might not have anything to do with how we turn out.” Do you know what a profound statement that was? My mind was blown. Some of us live our whole lives so tethered to our childhoods, either embracing it when it was a loving and kind environment as a roadmap to build our lives or running from it when it was not a loving and kind one to create our own roadmaps. Yet, the real point is not where we came from but where we are going. Have we learned the things and strived for the things that make us good humans? We may not have started on the same path, but hopefully, we get to the same place through experience and growth as humans. Thanks for blowing my mind today. 😮😮😮Another gift you have shared. ❤😊

I so enjoyed the slideshow you included of some beautiful photos of the entire trail and the icing on the cake was your generous thank you messages to your tramily. It was so heartfelt and beautiful. As much as you shared your gratitude for them, I know they all apprecited you. 'Somewhere' is an enigma that I would love to know more about but probably never will. I do hope you remain in contact. Hi I have not seen this one yet because we watched the live stream. You answered two questions of ours. First of all CONGRATULATIONS and thank you for giving us a wonderful opportunity to be a part of this EPIC adventure. We have watched each of your and trail family this has given us endless hours of fun and joy each person gives insight to how they feel under great and some not so great conditions. I wish you endless blessings and happiness in everything you do and this live stream was epic looking forward to the next one I hope with Bossbay and Birdcall as they are a few days behind you. We have been able to a few times see PCT hikers and give a little trail magic and look forward to be able to make a few stops we some goodies for hikers. Another hike completed and it was a wonderful one indeed..I am so glad I got to accompany you on your three thru hikes!! Your best video ever. Easily. I'm ecstatic for you reaching the northern monument with a mostly continuous footpath-minus 83.6 miles you'll make up when the fires die down and the trails are reopened-and hiking the trail the west you wanted to hike it. Your finish was epic, you had me concerned about your condition a day ago. Obviously, Somewhere was also concerned enough to stop and camp right next to you, which was a sign to me that she was monitoring your condition. This is the PNW, your far north of Maine and at higher elevations. Summer is short here-although you'd never know it from the forecast 100°+ days ahead this first week of September 2024-but weather changes dramatically and here and catches folks unaware and unprepared. Sorry you had to experience that, but happy Somewhere was nearby to help if necessary. Your epilogue was heartwarming and special to all your tramily, but it also showed us viewers how much you've learned and changed along this trail. I hope you see you when you return to walk the final miles linking the trail miles closed by fire. Good luck ahead, I hope you're enjoying your return trip and seeing some wonderful small towns, I'll be watching for you updates.

Hi Julianna (hope I spelled you're name right). It sure has been a pleasure watching your thru hike of the PCT. I grew up on the west coast. As a native to CA (now living in Tampa, FL), it was great seeing you hike through some of my old stomping ground like the San Gabriels and Sierras. I used to live in Lancaster, not far from the PCT and would frequently go up to Wrightwood and hike Baden-Powell, Inspiration Point and Cloud Burst Peak. I also spent part of my childhood in WA state and seeing your hiking up there really makes me want to take a trip home and section hike on the PCT and PNT. Thanks so much for posting this for all of us to see. You're a great hiker, talent person and very kind. I look forward to watching your future hikes!
