Some interesting info about Mauretania - it's an Islamic republic and slavery has long been practiced. Its slavery is on racial lines - blacks are enslaved by their Arab masters. Mauretania was the last country to abolish slavery in 1981 but unofficially slavery still goes on. There are some documentaries on YT about the country and how they treat and abuse their black slaves.
