The yarn reminds me of fuchsias. They often have both of those purple shades on one flower. I think it’s beautiful yarn. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season. Thank you for sharing your creativity and your beautiful country with us.
Yes, the fuchsia flowers we had in hanging baskets were those colors. They don’t handle very cold weather, so we haven’t had any since we moved away from California.
That yarn reminds me if irises or petunias. Very lovely colors in all those yarns. I think there's nothing more exciting than receiving yarn in the mail. It's so much fun.
I would knit a sweater out of the last ball…the blue. My daughter would love the colors. I hope Opal decides to sell some of those colorways. I enjoy your vlogmas, and it’s the only one I have watched the entire season.
Anna, I am so enjoying vlogmas with you. Each night I look forward to your episode. I settledown with my tea, and knotting or crosstitch. May peace be with you this Christmas time.
Oh how I enjoy your happiness with your new yarns. It makes me happy too. Actually this whole video makes me happy. I would so cast on that red/black yarn. It is intriguing.
Rhododendron is the same in English, and yes, they come from nurseries! Your purple/green Opal wool reminds me of flag irises, there are so many variations. It will be interesting to see which Opal yarns make it to my lys... :)
Loving to watch your vlogmas as much as I can, it’s so calming during such a busy time 🎄 I want to thank you for sharing the bird box & other items you put together~this idea inspires me to do this for a few special people in my life for next year🎄
Great that you find inspiartion in my videos. It is so difficult to find calm and quiet moments during this season. I am happy my videos help you with that.
The delicate feminine skein put me in mind of a brand Walmart is selling under the Pioneer Woman brand (she is a Food Network personality who lives in Oklahoma). The colors are very similar. I do see rhododendron in the colors of your least favorite but I can also see a coleus as someone mentioned earlier. Benni reminds me of my cats...always wanting a cuddle when I've got my knitting on my lap.
I love the plum ball!! The red is lovely as well. There are so few red skeins compared to the other colors it seems. I hope you enjoyed your Afghani meal, and I look forward to seeing your new socks :)
Love them all but the blue looks so pretty. I am hoping to learn about bullet journaling from you. I am so overwhelmed by the RU-vid videos, making my head hurt. I want something very simple. I am enjoying your Vlogs more than you will ever know ❤😊
Check out the original videos by Ryder Carrol: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fm15cmYU0IM.html He invented this method and keeps it super simple. I also read his book "The Bullet Journal Method" which is really great!
I think the Opal yarn you said was your least favorite is the one I’d pick first. The flower it reminds me of is fuchsia. Someone else mentioned Clematis - I thought of that too.
What is this beautiful sweater you are wearing. I love the garter stitch collar and the open work. Is it a pattern.. A I am blessed Christmas to you and Thomas and Bennie and your families
Hi Anna, seeing your opening pictures made me think that I would love to show you something. In 2018 I crocheted - all in thread filet crochet - the Divine Mercy. It turned out well but very big - too big to hang in the church where the priest who asked me to make it is based - so it is now up in the Sacred Heart community centre across the road from that church. I am not on Facebook or Instagram so I don’t know how to share the photos with you. I’m sure you would like them. I enjoy your videos so much and feel as though I know you. Thank you. Lin
@@annaknitter Yes, the full picture of Jesus with the rays coming from his heart. It wasn’t difficult - I just followed a chart and had to concentrate a lot. Do you have an email I could send it to you please?
I know I heard on one of the podcasts but I just can’t figure out which one it was where you talk about your bullet journal. If you or anyone reading these comments knows which podcast number that is, could you please let me know? Thank you so much!
Do you mean podcast or vlogmas episode? I will upload a video today where I talk a little bit more about the bullet journal. And I will make another video about my new bullet journal set up for 2024 soon.
With the Opal yarns? Oh there is much you can do. You can knit a sweaters, scarves, socks, headbands, hats, mittens, gloves, legwarmers, ornaments and so much more with it.
That is funny! In the episode of Columbo yesterday I learned that the medicine digitalis comes from the foxglove. I didn't know that the medicine has the same name as the plant in latin. In German we say Fingerhut ("fingerhat").
