Mica is currently resting with his new pumpkin toy at his side and he loves the liver treats as well! As for me, the “foot spa” products will definitely come in handy and I can’t wait to use them…. Sparrow and MIca on Katahdin! Yay! Congratulations to you both. I am astounded that you two folks (well, one pooch) that I met in Virginia so many days ago, so many miles ago, just kept walking right into the blue. Four months have passed then. Four months of grass mowing and church going and babysitting a grandchild and working and hiking and the routine of life. But all that while, you two were going north on an epic journey with an epic end. I'm very glad for you and very grateful I got to meet you. Today I was day hiking in the Cohutta Mountains in Georgia, so I'm tardy seeing this video. I last saw you about day 77 or so near Swift Run Gap in the Shennies. So you still had about 111 days ahead of you then. Your determination is evident, but the funny thing is that there was never a doubt that you'd make it. You had that aura - "I am Sparrow, and I am simply walking to Maine." Thanks for sharing the journey. It's meant a great deal to me to walk along with you (sort of), even as I resumed routine life. It was always fun to see you break into a song. And the most positive. I literally never once heard you complain. You laughed when you fell on your butt in the mud,and you even cracked a little laugh when you had Noro. Nothing got you down,and you just kept trekking North.
