Day 2- Fitz Roy Trek | Big Mountain Views with Sunrise at Laguna de Los Tres & windy Laguna Torres

Second day trekking around Fitz Roy near El Chalten. Waking up in Poincenot Camp and climbing up to Laguna de los Tres for sunrise. Hiking the Madre y Hija lakeside trail to connect to the Laguna Torres Trail. Continuing on trail to return to El Chalten. Resupply shopping for the Huemul Circuit the next day.

Gary - I didn’t know about it 😭. I was all alone up there and didn’t know about the different trail. I’ll just have to return one day!

Nice Towers but I noticed too many day packs . How would it be now or did they close like most of our parks and trails here in Washington with today being the day that the North Cascades , Ross Dam and Chelan Parks are shutting down to go with the ones already closed like up the street , Mt Rainier . Have they closed Parks near you such as Algonquin.

Every park around here is closed. All I can do is walk around my neighborhood. And yep, it is a big tourist attraction with day hikers.
