Join me, Tambarambaa as I create day 20 in the Art by Marlene May challenge. Todays prompt is ‘Collage’ and I pay respect to the Aussie wildflowers and pair it with my love of bright colours and a touch of whimsy. Inspired by an arty book at the library, I have fun with scissors, glue and paint to create a fun Art journal page.

I never thought to create a gorgeous protea or even a bottle-brush. So clever. I really love the way you take pieces of paper and turn them into the most inspiring images. You are so creative and your enthusiasm is so contagious. I always look forward to your next creation. I’ve just started the May challenge on Day 1 - only four weeks late! ☺️ I used a scrap of backing paper in the corner and used it as a springboard to create a background, as you do in some of your videos. I need to guy the ABM brushes as mine are too wide for nice mark-making.

Eeek no time for that. I will have done three of the prompts on video by the end of the month. Life gets in the way! I did day 9 on video which is already available if that helps and I’ll do a flip through at the end as I’m so damn proud of this book! I’m in country SA 🇦🇺
