Day 21: BLIZZARD BUCK at the Buzzer! What. A. Hunt.
On the second to last day of the season, we finally get the weather I'd been hoping for, and more. In a crazy day full of blizzard conditions, I have an incredible hunt. This is as good as it gets when it comes to beautiful scenery and deer behavior in the snow. To top it off, as the door was starting to close on the season, one of the big mature bucks I was looking for made his way through the deep snow into bow range. As always, the final hunt is just a small part of it for me, the story and journey is everything. That was a great conclusion to your season! Nice shot under difficult conditions. You'll remember that hunt long after the bow hunting days are over. The fact that the deer ran into a valley and you drug it out through a blizzard is pretty awesome and only makes the night that much more vivid memorable. Very cool hunt and video. Late season can be brutal for sure but I think you should of been in the tree. Laughing...... Most of the bucks up here in Central Michigan have lost their horns already and we've really only had one week of sub zero Temps otherwise it's been another mild winter. Definitely a piece of property that has a ton of potential in the coming years so passing up 30 to 40 bucks to get that one special buck is worth it but I myself would of had a hard time doing on a few of your hunts. Good job Jared and be safe out there.
