DAY 23 on the Camino de Santiago. Today was my first official rest day with no walking! I’m in the City of León, Spain and it is so beautiful here. I slept until 10am. It was awesome. Tomorrow I am going to send my pack with the courier service for a day to give my left ankle some more rest. I went out for a while this evening to tour the cathedral and have dinner and my feet swelled up again so it’s not an easy thing to cure. I’m sure I won’t recover until well after I’m home. Nevertheless, I feel like my energy has recovered if not my feet. Buen Camino!
