Day 26 - 7th day in chick's life. Menu of the day: whole snails, 4 whole cherries and giant insect

July 10, 2022 - This video contains all feeding moments. Specialties of the day includes whole snails, whole cherries and giant insect. This is very different food than before. The chick survived the snails, it must be that it's stomach is capable of digesting snail shell. Very surprising how big food the chick can consume.

Is it just me, or is Mama kind of rough when she pokes the food down the baby's throat?

Well it does look rather rough when the bird tries to fit the big snail or the big cherry into the chicks throat. I wonder if one of the next days the bird will bring something which will not fit :)

It seems kinda weird that she only has one chick. He’s lucky that he never has to compete for food.

the baby almost never seems to drop poop, the mother also needs nutrients for strength, baby!

I'm not sure the brief clips are long enough to show us the bird stooling.

Very correct, If I were to include those moments the video would be 16-18 mins instead of 7. Usually the chick poops about 20 sec into the clip. Most of the time I simply cut the clip earlier. But rest assured there are no problems with frequent stooling :)
