Great and very informative video. Sir please make a detail video related to real industry level DevOps project that include docker, kubernetes, Ansible github, python scripts and any cloud ( aws, Azure or gcp) so that we can learn how to implement these tools an we get some hands on experience
@@vikramadhithyamukthapeeda2419 I was editing the video and found out that I recorded it without the audio 😭 I have to re record 2 videos , Will try to do it asap hopefully today
Great tutorial ! It would be even better and educational if you can show how to complete those steps using git bash only as well. A seperate video about merge strategies would also be great. But overall very good explanation.
Hi Piyush, Thank you for this series. Is it ok to use GitHub as the version control in azure devops? Any cons or such. Please suggest. Learning Azure devops, which we will be implementing in my organization.
Hi Piyush, How to download the download the document which is shared with images and content . please tell me it will help to revise the content again@piyush
Hello, What error are you facing? Are you using the same account for Azure portal and Azure devops? Can you share your error details on our discord server and someone will help you.

Hello buddy, Just so you know, Azure DevOps is a tool with features such as Build and Release pipeline, Project management, Source code management via repos, test execution via test plans and so on. You still have to learn many other tools and technologies to work along with Azure DevOps, for example, you have to be proficient in Git , git branching, merging/rebase, git flow, Infra as a code using tools such as Terraform, configuration management using tools such as Ansible, docker, kubernetes, monitoring, logging , alerting and so on. While I covered many technologies in this videos, there is still scope to learn what was not covered. I would suggest getting a proficiency in one of the clouds either GCP/Azure, do an associate level certification, build some hands on projects including the projects in this series, work on your scripting using shell or python and then you can start applying for jobs
You should 7 days of projects, from begginer, senior , and advanced. The video should not be longer than 40 minutes too, if possible. Some ideas could be using Bicep in pipelines, deploy resources to the cloud. How do we do this, devsecops in pipelines, sonarqube, checkov etc. I am hoping you will add these.
I am trying to keep the video between 30-60 minutes but I cannot control if it doesn't cover the entire topic. From Day4 onwards , there will be many projects including IaaC using Terraform and DevSecOps. Feel free to check out the Github repo for entire course content.
Hi, I'd suggest start from Linux fundamentals, then Git and Github and then try your hands on a simple CICD tool such as Jenkins. For Jenkins, I have a seperate playlist that you can follow. Hope it helps.
Hello Priyanka, its personal choice , you can you any git client. If you are doing this directly on Github UI, it will be difficult, as when you have to push multiple files, you have to commit every single file one by one, that is why I used VSCode, you can use git bash, git desktop or anything else. It doesnt matter.
Are you cloning the Github repository using the steps mentioned in the read me file? Can you share the details of the repository you are trying to clone?>
Hello Sree, I am updating the readme as soon as I am publishing the video. For this video, did you check Day 3 folder? github.com/piyushsachdeva/AzureDevOps-Zero-to-Hero/tree/main/Day3
everything is fine. but i feel ike you exaplin what we are doing. but don't explain why are we doing. so maybe try to get better at it. i already know git and github it was easy for me to understand but If a new person comes in it would be complicated. just try to illustrate with example. (like for staging and committing you could use engagement and wedding example) like that
I get your point. I try my best to explain everything from basics but sometimes I miss it as I am focusing more on Azure DevOps but I totally agree with you. Thank you for the feedback and its well taken
