Top video Olly, my granddad was a farmer and loved his new Holland combine unfortunately he died when I was young so I never got the chance to follow in his footsteps but you give me a good flavour of what I have missed out on - thank you👍
My dad works in a sawmill, they only have 1 forklift that works for at least 7 hours a day feeding the mill, loading trucks etc, the jcb they had was needing the axles rebuilt at the cost of £3500-£4000, bearing in mind it had over 15000 hrs on it. The owners decided to buy a brand new forklift and bought a merlo as it was cheaper than a jcb, in 6 months its lucky if it's done 8 weeks of work as it is constantly breaking down including a electrical fire in the first week with less than 30 hrs on it. You get what you pay for
I bought a new 930 gen 6,didnt get a beersie, but got shirts, jackets, the best thermal cup I have ever owned, caps, waiting for some fendt overalls and be all good.
Hi folks , well done Olly , John Deere pipes £53.76 for drill , great update on the loaders natty the little waker, nice job on the headstock great to think outside the box . Crack on for the sprayer 🚜🚜👍
Those axle breathers you should be able to find them at a truck parts place, have done the same as you clean them up but here in the states they aren't very much money! Good job on that bushing!
We have a 412 it’s a great compact machine very stable and outlifts anything the same weight class . You should look at the new model it has a lot more features similar to a bigger loader and the Also offer a option for a more powerful engine . What’s great with this machine is it can be towed on a plant trailer making it easy to move
We have a JD telehandler. It had a meeting with trailer damaging the engine cover and radiator £3000 for a new radiator and a new bonnet was £9000. Had a new radiator made for a few hundred and a little bit of ally, pop rivets, filler and JD green paint all done for about a grand. Pretty sure that pipe is in the thousands. Find yourself a good pipe shop and they'll make you a few copies real cheap.
That thing was too familiar it was a pain in my foot literally we had the same make it was simple and great when it played ball but had a habit of breaking, stretching or losing springs which on the big front panel left it coming nearly halfway before flopping back so it only put the bales on the none tripping side if you tried to set it the other side it would switch that one time. I was 10 or 11 (nearly 30 years ago) and I had to run behind in trainers and kick the rear catch then jump back to not get the gate to the shins though it still got me a couple of time. Still had the "Supplied by Invicta Motors" sticker on it when we sold it 20 years ago they had gone out of the ag trade a long long time by then. They don't make stickers like they used to...
Hi Olly, beautiful day, moving sheep around and setting up hubby's laptop, hate Windoze, son planting the maize. Quiz about £ 90 x vat. We still use the flat 8 bale system for straw and some hay. Take care thank you.
I’m late to the party so it might have been mentioned already, they make a ag version of the little loadal in weidermann colours with slightly different specs, it’ll do 30kph and has air con and a hitch if you want it.
Apologies Olly, I thought I seen your new header parked next to the combine. Looked again this morning and it's the red screener parked next to it !! Just on my way to specsavers 😁
I would like to say £75 (as they must be made by the bucket load) but will go for £150? If it was custom made I would say half day plus materials for a fabricator to get it pretty spot on. Machine the bracket, fold, set the tube and adjustments @ £175, but no powder coat!
Knowing JD that part will be around £289 to £325 ,I was after a air con condenser for our compact 4720 and that was £580 plus vat Great vid stay safe 🚜🚜👍👍
Quiz question - surely it cannot be any more than £60:00 to £70:00? Even that’s expensive, after all it’s only a small bit of pipe with a couple of sets in it and a small lug welded on? Could knock one out if you had the correct size pipe! You made a very good job of that Merlo repair taking up all that wear!! Fantastic job. Credit to you.
I reckon pipe will be about £125 though could be more but then you would probably have had a go at making one. Either way it will be one hell of alot cheaper than that “free” beer you got from fent😂. Merlo headstock bush what can I say total bodge but actually turned out ok (ish) think you should have got it bored out and bushed. Soon be 400 days keep them coming
Have you looked at the weidemann small telehandler I think there very competitive on pricing and can have extra features than a lot of the others n there class
