Great Divide Trail Section E (Saskatchewan River Crossing to Jasper)- Day 4. We hiked from a small campsite along the Cataract Creek in the White Goat Wilderness to the Boulder campsite in Jasper National Park. The wildflowers were epic and the views from Cataract Pass (2506m) were world class- hanging glaciers, turquoise alpine lakes, and big horned sheep!
This was one of my favourite days of hiking EVER!

It always amazes me how much the spattering of snow on the mountain peaks and valleys adds so much beauty to the view. Thank you so much for sharing your journey!

Where's the Beef or at least the pepperoni sticks ? Surprised by the wildflowers this late in the season if this was Oct. Scenery is so much different than Ontario. Would you do a winter camp like you did with your brother on the West Coast where the snow might be more wetter than your use to.

When planning trips in the Rockies I am torn between going when the wild flowers are out to waiting a bit later and hoping for less bugs. Of course later in the season there is also more chance of smoke from wild fires. Looks like you guys picked a gorgeous time but were definitely dealing with bugs.

Hi, great video. I'm working on a project to let Albertans know about what they will be missing if coal mining gets approved. I'd appreciate your sharing some of your clips. I have no budget. Let me know as soon as you can. Thanks. Jeff
