Join Praetorian & Jynx as they play the new PS5 version of 7 Days to Die! This is season 2 of our PS5 console 7DtD gameplay, and in this episode we'll be fighting the day 42 horde night.
7 Days is a zombie survival crafting game that released on PS4 in 2016, but stopped receiving updates due to an issue with the publisher. Thus the console version quickly fell behind the PC version. This new console edition is releasing on PS5 & Xbox Series X | S, and it's the same 1.0 version that just released on PC. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a split-screen or local couch multiplayer option as the previous version did, thus we're playing online co-op multiplayer.
While we're new to this version of the game, we have hundreds of hours in the PS4 one. Thus this series can serve as a beginner guide or tutorial for new players.

I completely forgot that I have a helmet light. Sorry about that, would have really helped to use it given how dark the prison was.

Instead of bars, try the scaffolding ladder. Make sure the block outline is on the side away from zombies or they can climb it.

While I'm pretty sure the POI doesn't matter, I do think the biome difficulty counts for horde game stage.

Yeah didn't go to bad, we'll be using the prison again for the next horde. I have some ideas to ensure it goes better next time. And thanks for the tips :)

I feel like we need to be able to construct in concrete first, as the cobblestone is too easily broken through.

The prison is a great place you just need to Path the Z's to where u want them to go....

Well when I said they "spawned in the prison," I didn't mean in the building, but inside the walls, which was very clearly the case. We put spikes all around the walls and expected them to have to break through them.
