But with prayers and support from my brother and my family, i finally had the courage to only say YES to things without having to say NO to myself and my kids. I pray that you have the courage and finally take the leap. The right time will come, and when that day comes, there will be no regrets. For now, just be the best of who you are, where you are. Hi Pat, yes I do take my kids sometimes. But my kids have work and my youngest have school. But on holidays they come with me, but we mostly fly because they hate long drives now lol. The electric heater works great but it can be expensive to book serviced campsites at all times. So I take these times as a treat to myself haha. Thanks for watching and for your support, Pat! 🥰🙏

@@LifeSimplifiedbyMai I have been doing google earth and have found some camp spots about an hour from my place. There are about 6 different campgrounds all right on the river. It is first come first serve camps and only $8 a night on BLM land. Each place only has about 5 to 8 spots. Canada is so beautiful. There is a lot of BLM that is free to park and camp in USA. I have a Van picked out n getting a call today on how much it is. Wished I felt a bit better. Very weary of not being up to par . I want the Van so I will have the winter to fix it up and hit the road when the snow leaves. It is bigger than a mini. But we will see if they have a mini on offer. I live in central Oregon high desert. I am going to start a notebook on BLM land here in Oregon.

I will try to find crownlands here. For now I am still in the process of getting out of my comfort zone, i feel safer and warmer in the campsites hahaha but, when I get to BC I know they have a lot of free campsites there and I am excited to try! 🙏

@@LifeSimplifiedbyMai the BLM lands I stay on are usually in a more crowded area where you can see your neighbor. Some guys go way down the road but that is a bit to far to go for me. If I holler I want someone to hear me. The campgrounds I have found are only about 20 minutes from the nearest town so 1 of 2 things will happen. A bunch of kids will come out and party, I want to hear the river not the hollering OR only fishing folks will be there and then it will be nice. I always take note of where the group site is and I go to the other end. Used to camp host and group sites were my nightmare they always got drunk and obnoxious. On gal said well how do we quiet down 50 people…I said …one at a time …or go to bed… still a hassle. If you find you have to stay on a forest road or off by yourself…always have your car pointed to get out fast no turning around and if something scares you hop into the front seat and go. I personally love the feeling of safety in campgrounds but ours are getting very spendy . Well fun travels kid and God bless and protect you.

@@LifeSimplifiedbyMai I got my Van. I didn’t t know where to tell you. I went in looking for a 2005 and ended up with 2012. My Cadillac got double what everyone told me. Then he discounted the car 2000 and with my son’s help and my stash and a small hit on credit card it is in my parking space. The seats are hidden in the floor. Until I decide on what bed I will use a air cushion n some bed toppers on the floor and oh I left up one of the back chairs n think that might work for me. Gonna use it around here to see what do I need. I will not be taking all the gear I have. Just what I need. Drove 30 min home and no problems except some rattling not sure if chairs in floor rattle actually hope it is don’t want it to be something else.Chrysler Town n Country touring LWB. Well off to bed don’t have to keep daydreaming about my Van.
