naiyak ako while watching this video. my husband and i took the same route last year. now my riding buddy rode home to his Creator already. thank you Mike Tv. hope to see you someday.
It gives me butterfly in the stomach on viewing your trip from Sagada going to Tuguegarao..whew..keep safe..The Lord be with you always as you trod those roads..
I travelled this Northern loop part of Luzon from Aparri to Laoag City back in early 1970's. The road was horribly dangerous and difficult back then, to say the least. Some part of the road was riddled with potholes landslides making it difficult for two vehicle to pass each other. Someone has to yield by backing off to find a space to pull over so the other vehicle could pass. I saw a small gang of monkeys, wild bananas and papaya trees along the way. But I enjoyed the experience and challenges of traveling this part of Luzon then. Some parts in Cagayan reminds me of Hawaii. I came back for a vacation in the Philippines in 2017 and travelled the same route for the fun of it. The roads are mostly paved with concrete and asphalts now. There's the via duct where you could see nearly 180 degrees of beautiful ocean view. Philippines is beautiful. Keep it a paradise for visitors to experience.
Love to watch your video esp. ILOCOS SUR AND NORTE. Like Patapat Bridge, Hannah's Resort, Banguid windmill at iba pa.
Nice views geographically. Kudos to your effort Mike! Lalo na infrastructure widening and cementing the roads . How far is Pagudpud from the first town of Cagayan? Wow 😂😂😂👌 Patapat breathtaking indeed. This was one of the numerous project of Former President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos who hails from Batac, Ilocos Norte. Incidentally my roots are from Banna, Ilocos Norte and Santiago, Ilocos Sur. My mother’s clan from The Sipin- Elefante Clan of Santiago, Ilocos Sur. Please feature Isabela Province too. Thank you ! God bless ! 🙏 😊 ☺️
i am originally from Nueva Vizcaya and have not seen this beautiful places that you've traveled..I guess what i'm saying is i envy you're travels in a good way and makes you proud to be a pinoy..Keep it up and Bonne Chance.. Thanks for the vlog..
I'm from Cagayan Valley, I know how stiff those terrain in the Northern part of the Philippines. Traveling in that area during daytime will give you nausea. The mountains are very high & treacherous. Drivers have to pay attention at all times to the roadways otherwise one little mistake could be fatal as the curves are very sharp. Thank you Kuya Mike for showing Northern Luzon. You're awesome, brave to discover Cagayan Valley. God bless!.🙏🇵🇭❤
THROWBACK : In 1980, when I was working with Delta Motor Corp (Toyota), nag-imbestiga ako ng isang aplikante ng truck dito sa Aparri. Saan pay nga kasta kapintas ti highway. It was a very long trip but so exciting dahil napakaganda ng mga tanawin.
Throwback 1980 9 pesos per kilo alimasag sa aparri during that time isa kmi sa unang dumaan sa magapit bridge very horrible ang byahe balesterros to Ilocos Norte rough road sanchez mira
Thanks at na video mo Bro ang Aparri last visit ko dyan 1986 noong college pa ako taga Abulug din ako dyan kami dumadaan sa Cagayan river at huling daan ko din dyan sa patapat year 1999
wow my birthplace Aparri Cagayan. Cagayan River is the longest river in the Philippines..at nadaanan mo din kuya ang lambak ng Cagayan.....happy to see you safe while riding..
I used to take a boat ride from Aparri marketplace to the other side of the Cagayan river at its “mouth” going to the town of Ballesteros. That’s where the river meets the ocean. That was quite an experience as the boat goes up with the wave and drops down you can only see water around you after the wave passes by. This in a small banana shaped motorboat. 15-20 passengers. It was like a roller coaster ride but certainly very dangerous. I can still remember the boatman would let go of the gas as the wave hits the boat and revs it after the wave passes.
thanks for sharing enjoyed muc!!! i was borbutn and raise in Gattaran in the late 50"S and left the country back in 78 so much improvements since then, been coming back home once or two times a year but not able to travel since april 2020, nandiyan kami ng brother ko noong nag lockdown, what a horrible expirience.
Nice vlog sir, actually isa sa dream ko na e tour or to visit all parts of the Philippines. But because insufficient of money. Magiging dream na lang yon. Yong Vlog mo sir it makes my dream come true. Thanks for sharing. Keep vlogging and sharing sir. Thumbs up sa RU-vid Channel mo.
I was born in Sanchez Mira, Cagayan. You are right about the horrible trip that going home from Manila to my birthplace was a bad experience in the 60's and 70's! As far as I can remember, I went home only about 3 times during my 5 year stay in Manila while I was studying until I graduated ! So happy that our roads are paved now! From Alberta,Canada!
Good morning nice to watched this while having my coffee my kuya from Gonzaga yesssss nice drive from Gonzaga to my friend in Ilocos keep riding keep posting😁☕️🌲🇨🇦
Nung 1st naka 4wheels Aug.of 2010 mula Bulacan to Isabela to Tuguegarao to Vigan to Baguio to Bulacan 1st North loop experienced. At nung pang 2nd naka motor kasama ko ang aking husband & our grp riders. Bulacan to Vigan to Pagudpod to Bulacan. Pagudpud to Bulacan 30hrs ride pahinga lang kain & stretching then byahe na naman. It was a very exciting, tiring, but enjoyed. What an experienced of a life time. I Thank God for that! Ingat po & may our good God guide you always. Thumbs up po sa inyong vlogs.
My story in Aparri. I used to go there twice a month to visit doctors. Once I parked along the main road. There’s only one cemented national highway. Parked along the road with another car. When the other car left a policeman showed up to give me a ticket. He said it’s a no parking zone. I told him I parked there because there was a car parked there and I didn’t see any sign. He told me that was the mayor. Nagpagupit lang daw. Anyway he gave me a warning and I gave him samples of anti diarrheal meds.
Nice,a good drive to test my new car a piece of northwestern u s(oregon and washington states)along columbia river)good job man and happy motoring.keep safe!!!
Damned! Wow! Sa vlog mo lang first time ko napanood ang Cagayan River. How wide it is. And the road going to Ilocos Norte especially the Patapat Bridge, it is so beautiful! and I really love going there. 2 years ago we went to Pagudpud but we miss the full views of the windmills due to bad weather. Sayang.
