I like this girl a lot. She's very playful but also pretty and obviously likes to cook. I'm glad she cooked something for a guest even if he didn't like it. Nah. It's very common in China to add food to your bowl or urge you to try dishes. Doesn't mean that you have to because there are certain things I don't eat. His mission is to find a bride so they're definitely not going to take it slow.
@Luming-di9rf I know sharing food is a form of love language in China however she's not Chinese. Putting food on your plate that you know a person likes is different from forcing someone to eat something . He said he didn't want to eat anymore and she did not listen. She made good effort to say thank you in his language though, which is good. Feelings must be natural...if there is chemistry it must be natural.

It's called hospitality. It happens to me all the time but it doesn't mean that I will eat it if I don't like that particular food, like squid, octopus, cooked chicken with skin., for instance. If I listened all the time I'd be big as a cow. I just tell them beforehand that I'm not a big eater which is true. I eat about half now of what I used to eat. I've never been overweight, just a choice I made. My waistline is practically the same as when I graduated high school and that's almost half a lifetime ago.

I still think for a first meeting and one where you know nothing about the person's likes or dislikes, that it was important for her to guage her response according to his reactions. He actually said he did not want anymore food and he got up.

Looks might be interesting for some but most important is the integration in the families, coping away from home if you intend to live in Africa. Also the ability to get along with the in laws and the in-laws with her. It’s a long road and journey after the initial honeymoon.
