Doubt : If profiles and roles both have Tcodes and authorisations, why sap has introduced Roles instead of profiles? I mean profile were doing the same thing.
Usually if we assign the standard profile it contains full Authorization,it might lead to business expections. so that is the reason we usually don't assign the standard profiles.as far as I know these standard profiles like sap_all,sap_new is used by basis team when they is installation.
