365 Empowerment is a spiritual discipline program to learn 365 Bible verses in one year, 1 verse a day to understand the meaning of each and most importantly to memorize every one of them. As followers of Jesus Christ we are to become holy like Him. In order to do that we need to store God’s Word in our heart through memorization. Today's verse is Matthew 24:13.

Lack of faith isnt evidenced by sinning, this is a bad mistake people make that leads to faith on works. Lack of faith in Jesus is evidenced by unbelief. Believing in works is actually a lack of faith in Jesus.

I would contest to say you are saved by grace but must endure to be saved but the endurance is not a work is false. If by grace then not of works ( no work of any kind) Roman Catholicism teaches that heresy its you working but Gods grace enables you. But scripture does not say "works by the grace of God" is not work. It says "not of works" Not who or how but not of works. I would also suggest that the verse "endures to the end the same shall be saved" is not talking about salvation but those saints who in the tribulation period must endure to be saved physically. For later Jesus say unless those days be shortened no flesh shall be saved. Flesh is not saved meaning going to heaven. I suggest the saints in the seven year period must endure to the end, when Jesus returns and they (flesh) will be saved. Its for saints in tribulation, the context is when will the end come and christ return. Nothing to do with enduring (works) to be saved. For we are saved by grace through faith, not of ourselves (enduring) but it is a gift of God, not of works ( whether in flesh or done in grace) no works, least any man should boast " if i did not endure those hardships, beatings, wars , i would not be going to heaven, it was tough but i endured thus i am owed salvation" as promised.

I seemed to miss the answer to the question. Are you saying that because you are saved that you will endure, or are you saying that after you are save that you must endure?

I would say both after and because you are saved. On our (those who are saved) end, "we" are to endure till the end (as in Matthew 24:13). At the same time, it is "because" we are saved by God's grace who provides the way of escape and enables us to endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you except common to mankind; and God is faithful, so He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it."

@@21cmoses As you likely are aware that the subject matter of your video is highly contested between Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) and conditional salvation. I believe OSAS is believed by a large majority of professing Christians. I am of the opinion that that the Christian is not locked into salvation because that would mean that free will is eliminated and the whole purpose of God's creation truly loving him would be impossible. We must heed God's warning about departing from the living God. You cannot depart from where you never were. Are we to follow the heard or follow the Word??? Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

@@21cmoses John 10:28 and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. These verses mean exactly what they are saying. What has to be taken into consideration is the fact that the Bible gives many warnings such as Hebrews 3:12. While no man is able to pluck them out of his Father’s hand, this does not negate the fact that we are able to depart from the living God. Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. I am also curious; do you believe that mankind has a free will and is a free moral agent to do what he chooses even if it is contrary to God’s will? If yes, do you believe that free will is retained after their initial salvation?

@@brucemurray121 Yes, I believe that mankind has a free will but the sinners' free will can be full of evil (Genesis 6:5) whereas the born again retain their free will to choose their freedom to live as bonds laves of Christ (1 Peter 2:16). They are saved by God's grace to do all good works (Ephesians 2:8-10) so that they can choose to walk in them.
