And we stayed in suro guest house in paltan bazar. My father loves dairy writing aaj wo 60 years ke hoagye hain phir bhi unki yeah aadat nahi gayi. Maine turant abhi wo dairy kholi aur usme likha tha *suro guest house maine 500 rs ka room lia*.

You may try ASTC Guest Houses when staying in Guwahati. I have stayed quite a few times in them.
