@@smoothyodaproductions4373 Smoothbrain argument. Bloodborne and Sekiro are different too, and those are highly regarded. People hate DS2 because the PVE is boring as fuck. Combat feels awful, most bosses are complete pushovers, and the only difficulty comes from the constant ganks + lack of i-frames if your ADP isn't high enough. It's like Demon's Souls but with none of the charm.
@@giantfriendcrab6571 Not exactly a smoothbrain argument. People DO hate ds2 because its different. its noticably way different than ds1 and ds3, which is usually what ends up happening in game trilogies. Ds2 tried many things new, they basically threw things against the wall to see what stuck. Shit like ADP and the bosses sure didnt stick (except for dlc and a few main game bosses), but stuff like the story, bonfire ascetics, the way it handled ng+, and power stancing sure as hell stuck. But it is certainly different than the other two, and the differences are why people hate it. I mean its pretty obvious, if it wasnt different from ds1 and ds3 everyone wouldnt get so riled up talking shit about it. Also it most certainly has charm. At least moreso than ds3.
@@smoothyodaproductions4373 I mean there’s also the TERRIBLE hitboxes some enemies have with their attacks and the huge amount of dmg they do for no reason but other than that yeah it’s definitely got charm but it’s definitely the worst out of the 3. Still a good game tho
@@smoothyodaproductions4373 i love ds2 till now i would say bosses are very easy if they are solo but with bosses like ruin sentinal it gets difficult and fun . the look outside the map is beautiful and feels good. 10/10 game for me
