I definitely think it's a success, not only can you display it but it serves as storage. I'm going to make myself one with an old book and decorate it. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing. One of my versions of this idea was to use an old calendar to hold some of the cards that have been sent to me. It worked, but needless to say 12 pages won't hold much. Magazine pages seem to be to flimsy. The hard cover of the book adds the stability that my items need. I will give this a try for categories of my cut-outs. Thanks!
I think there is too much of the item sticking out. I would fold 2 page but Only 1/3 then tear out page at an increment you calculate. You could staple or tape each fold and put washi on top of each fold. I would also use something stronger and thicker than a ribbon. The possibilities of this concept is endless!!
