The extra bishop is just annoying, well you had the chance to save your own bishop Qxb3 Rb1 Qxd5. Good for you to admit 2300 might be a reach for now.

Qxd5 would have been better and more safe, tried to grab a lot of pawns instead but it's not so clear after that.

A lot of higher ranked players are unaware of just how good the intermediates are right now. Theres a lot of reasons for this. One being chesstube and chesstok. Another is that the Queens Gambit Netflix series is now 4 years old. There was a huge influx of players then, so there are a lot of more players who have been playing for four years than there are who have been playing less than 1. People who have been high elo for years have no idea that a lot of 1500s have been playing for four years instead of like 1 or 2.

That's a good point. I remember when I was 1300-1400 rated about 12+ years ago that every game was decided by hanging full pieces or blundering checkmate in 1 or 2 every game. It's not as easy nowadays haha

Congratulations. Until he put his bishop on b5, I thought he would put it on d3 and go for a Colle structure.
