What a great epcot day. I def want to try that cheese soup. Such a shame u got bad service at Ale and Compass, especially as we are planning to get a reservation there for brunch. Absolutely loved your comment about your sister choosing the restaurant, so we know who to blame if its shite! We love that area at the boardwalk. So so pretty. We are planning to hire one of those bikes one day.
Another great vlog Ladies I've never stayed on Disney property before but will definitely look into it for our next visit. Do love that area where you stayed though walked around it many times.
Hey buddy. It was Ale & Compass at The Yacht Club. It was a shitshow. We didn’t get seated until 40 mins after our reservation time. Then, when we were taken to our table, it was in a disappointing little side room with no atmosphere. We asked to change table, but were told that was not possible, which irked me. I asked someone else, and we were eventually moved to the main dining room, but it was a bit of a fight. Our waitress took our drinks order and brought over mine and Emma’s drinks, but not mums wine. We chased several times. The food even arrived before the wine, which wasn’t great. When the waitress finally brought the wine over, she stood making conversation with us about our day for quite a while, but she didn’t read her audience, because by that time, our food had JUST arrived, we were grumpy at the whole situation, and we just wanted to eat. But she didn’t take the hint and just carried on forcing chit chat minutes and minutes. Usually I can’t fault American service, you lot are so friendly. But ughhhh it wasn’t a good experience at all. (The food was really great though, I think we were just unlucky). X
Ugh. That’s awful. Every place and person has off nights, but when you’re paying that kind of money, it’s hard to be zen about it. You handled it very well!
Great vlog, but is anyone else thinking Disney are so far behind Universal, everything looks so dated in comparison. Think they are relying on the memories. I live in Cyprus and still laughing about your comment about the root of the word is Greek, soooooo true.
You’ve hit the nail on the head! Disney is still magical to me, but I wonder how much is nostalgia, and whether I’d feel the same if I went as an adult with fresh eyes. Universal is next level.
