DAY AFTER FIRE FOOTAGE: 4K Drone Lahaina Maui Fire - Longest & Most Detailed Aerial View 

As an ex-firefighter, I can tell you that immediately I can see many irregularities. The fire, if completely left to itself, would have consumed everything right up to the sea. Yet I see several very expensive-looking mansions left completely untouched, but surrounded by smaller dwellings burnt to the ground. Some small dwellings are burnt to the ground, yet completely surrounded by larger buildings that are completely untouched by the fire. There is a large area of expensive-looking houses completely untouched, right next to a community of smaller dwellings that are burnt to the ground, as if an imaginary line is drawn between the two areas. This needs a thorough investigation, as something is afoot. God bless the poor families affected by this terrible event. May justice prevail.

Being a Fire Marshal for many years, I see many disturbing things here. First of all, the burn paths (patterns) are very irregular. A fire doesn't go from house and skip the neighbors house and get yours. Tornados do that. Houses that were burned to ashes by very intense heat and flames and houses 20 feet away the tree leaves and grass are not even singed. I hope the people there doesn't stop until they get to the bottom of this fire.

I am firefighter on the east coast in a very dense urban city.. we run a lot of fire and nothing about this seems normal.. my heart hurts. All these systems in place to keep us down or dead.

Blocked exits out, shutting water off, powers that be out of town, insurance companies not honoring claims, rich neighborhoods safe and sound. This is all suspect. Hope not one person sells to any developer. I also hope people don't let this go because if we do it will happen again and again.

California here. You know i thought it was strange when we had our houses turned to powder and yet the trees sometimes only feet away remained green. To now see an exact replica of our residential remains is more than just a little suspicious. The fires in Chile didn’t look like that. Also you are surrounded by water so you would think the FD would have some barges with heavy pumps to spray endless water

The pattern of the fire and what it did and didn’t touch is mind blowing

I'm from a place that has many high wind wild brush fires in summer. First of all, almost ALL are started by people. 2nd, when the fire spreads it CAN miss spots, but the places in LaHaina that burned look absolutely incinerated and THAT is unusual to be right next door to an absolutely untouched spot. And buildings very rarely burn all the way down to the ground like that. How on earth did it spread in that parrticular, peculiar, way, over cement? It makes no sense. 🤷 and I've seen MANY raging fires & grass fires & property damage- but there's something QUITE ODD about the patterns here! It actually looks bombed.

My mom, niece, and I drove past Wahikuli, and what went through me was shock. I didn't expect to, but I was bawling. I was mourning for Maui. Everything and every place that I grew up knowing and going to often is no more. But more than the places, so many people gone. My heart is hurting. Thank you to the person or people who shot this video. I am fully convinced that days of gold are ahead for Maui and her residents.

As soon as i heard the song playing, i started balling my eyes out. The realization of my childhood hometown being gone finally hit me. For everyone who don't know, this is the song that the seniors sing when they graduate from high school. God bless everyone who lost their loved one's and their homes. Indigenous people, federally in the US have protected rights. There is nothing to stop the Elders on Maui to be present amongst the Fema or Gov agencies that has cordoned off areas of the Island. The People need to practice their inherent rights to the LAND, The Island is ready and able to protect its children, they just need to remember who they are, and walk together as One.

What an atrocity. It’s more than tragic. It seems very strange and suspicious how certain buildings seemed to be selected to burn and others selected not to. My heart goes out to those who lost so much 💔

Heartbreaking. I am not a firefighter, but common sense tells me a wildfire urged on by hurricane force winds does not stop to skip a house or hotel and decimate the remainder of the neighborhood. Excellent video footage. Beautiful native music looped behind the video was perfect! Entirely heartbreaking.

This (wildfire) is just like covid. Its very selective. I noticed it didn't touch any of the mansions. So amazing. My prayers go out to all the families in this ATTACK on the people.

It is so puzzling to me that some areas are completely untouched or burned while others around it are demolished to smitherines. Almost like someone picked and chose which ones to burn.

I've watched this heart-breaking drone video of Lahaina several times. I noticed that many of the buildings that were untouched by the fires had solar panels on their roofs. (ex: The large hotel with the red roof covered in solar panels: "Shores Beach Resort".) Could it be that the solar panels act like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, and thereby deflecting the lasers? I also noticed quite a number of green objects seemed untouched (ex. a large propane tank). Could this be due to the color blue being a component of the color green? Hopefully someone can answer these questions.

Hello, it is so odd how fire is, some structures were skipped while those right beside were burned, almost like it picks what it is going to burn. But I'm so sorry you all had to go thru this, and it's very cool Eric & friends, that you are spreading awareness. I haven't seen any vids about native Hawaiians and what they feel & think, will you make some? Maybe I missed them. Here in BC, Canada, we had a bad uncontrollable fire in the area Adam's Lake & it spread to North Shuswap. It's a huge lake where we go camping every year. They had the exact same situation as you all. The police wouldn't let them pass on the highway, and they wouldn't let those bringing in supplies by boat go through. It's just devastating. How can the same things happen on different parts of the world at the exact same time, same situation. And those cars burning like that with no burnable ground around them, that really makes one think, esp. with all this UAF stuff goin on. I believe that could happen or some contracted people did it to start fires or they are sending a message that they are here. Only theories now. You should keep the mobile phone get it tested or take dirt samples and car samples keep them stored away for evidence later. What I'm struck by is the complete lack of emergency vehicles or clean up crews. After a tornado or hurricane people are out immediately picking up. This is a ghost town!

It’s weird how the fire seemed to target areas of your citizens homes as if being driven by unnatural forces! Doesn’t take a genius to see this footage to realize this was not Mother Nature! This was deliberate. Lahaina people we are with you!!!

This is so heartbreaking and opens up painful old wounds that are only just starting to heal. We lost our home to a California wildfire in 2017, we walked away with only the clothes we were wearing. We never got a dime from insurance, lost the land/property to foreclosure when we couldn't pay both the mortgage on an empty lot and the rent of another house to live in temporarily. Our insurance (AAA) basically stalled our claim until we lost the property and couldn't rebuild, and then they claimed they were no longer obligated to pay out the claim if we weren't rebuilding. So we lost everything. But even so, I still feel blessed to be alive, so many others lost more than material possesions in these, and other, devastating wildfires. 💔 The houses in this vid that are largely intact all seem to have newer metal roofs and lots of very green landscaping surrounding them. I'm guessing one or both of those elements helped to insolate and protect those particular homes from damage....which further solidifies my decision to replace our current roof with a metal one at some point in the near future - as soon as we can afford it!

I find it amazing how random buildings survived the fire even though they were right in the middle of the burn zone, maybe it was the roofing materials and the fencing that surrounded a property that made the difference. The drone work was perfect . May God wrap His arms around the people of Lahaina, and I pray that the residents overcome this trying time. At 01:52 you can get a good look at the Kingdom Hall. There is a gentleman who filmed his entire experience escaping the flames who parked his van at the Kingdom Hall and then walked the beach out of danger. You can see that his van must have survived because it is not burned in the parking lot. If you want to watch the video look up "Jonathan Herzog Maui Lahaina Wild Fire Escape" on RU-vid. It is one of the best I have seen that shows the terror of that day.

The night this happened I'm in SoCal up really late, like 2-3am and hear this low rumble that I'll never forget but hard to describe, the best I came up with right after I heard it was if a very large plane flew over but didn't have any of the higher pitched scream of the engines. Just the low frequency sound of a jet probably because it was far away. I don't know what Hypersonic Jets sound like, but I did look up the new B-21 Raider and it sounded similar but not quite. The B-21 has Direct Energy Weapons.

I’m a 66 y/o Aussie I’ve seen my fair share of the horror of Bush Fires. I was in the middle of the Ash Wednesday fires, i saw this and my heart broke for you all in Hawaii. Stout hearts you will recover 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

It’s still surreal to me. I’ve been to Maui 8 times since my honeymoon in 2013 and it’s always been a special place to us. The people and the culture, the food. We’ve spent two Halloweens there on front street and it’s was the best of times! My son has grown up going there. Our thoughts and prayers for all those affected, especially the children. 😢 I hope everyone will be taken care of properly. With all the billionaires that go there or live there, and our government that has billions to give to other countries. We shouldn’t have a problem getting everyone the help they need. 🙌

On August 9, 2023, AFRL (Air Force Research Laboratory) announced that the US Navy and Marines commenced a large scale exercise. One of AFRL's Directed Energy laboatories is located in Maui, Hawaii.

I spent a lot of time in Lahaina and to see the devastation is almost too much to bear! My heart goes out to these beautiful people who never deserved such destruction and pain! I worked at Lahaina Harbor for 12 years. My office was in the old Lahaina Courthouse. For lunch and pauhana no better place to be with friends. So many friends lost everything. SO very sad. Mahalo a nui loa for sharing this video.

I keep seeing comments regarding the damage being so specific. And YOU’RE all right! As a firefighter in the service, this does not look like any A class fire I’ve seen…at all. Fire doesn’t discriminate, except here! Class of fires: Alpha = Wood, paper, etc. Bravo = Paints, thinners, etc Charlie = Electrically based fires ***Delta (worst) = Magnesium phosphate*** Fires that burn through metals as the case with USS Forestall, which had a Delta fire top deck & burned through the deck into the ship. The only ways to stop a D class fire is usually by “deep 6’ing” (pushing it off the deck of the ship into the Ocean) or the use of PPK/Halon (starving the fire of oxygen including any unfortunate persons in that space) Even AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) won’t put out a class Delta fire…and traditional water will actually feed the fire, making it much hotter. This class of fire will literally burn off the water and suck up the oxygen in that water, increasing its energy. I’m no expert, but to me…the way this fire behaved in that buildings in one area are utterly destroyed while buildings feet away are completely unharmed is HIGHLY suspect. I’m really starting to believe that DEW or direct energy weapons are being used. Just an opinion. To what end, I do not know. My “guess”….land grab.

I heard many if the singers in this video were weeping as they were singing. May the Lord bless them and all who have been affected. This is so so SAD. The U.S. must provide all the support needed in this horrible horrific destruction. The governor must heed to the residents needs and make sure no land grab or stealing of properties happens.

It's no accident that Kahoma Estates mostly survived and everywhere else around it burned...I was trying to purchase a place there 2 years ago after my friend did and they wouldn't take my VA loan. All four of the places I had rented in town previously burnt to the ground. The aforementioned friend talked to firefighters after the event and asked why the townhouses in the center of Kahoma Estates burned but not the houses and was told that they thought it was probably because someone left a window open and they burned from inside - lesson learned, modern fire protection and building codes work to help protect homes from fire! We learned this lesson in San Diego when I lived there the hard way when it burned so many homes that had the old style of shingle roofs. I live in Honokowai now but had been trying to move back into Lahaina town... it's so sad, I watched it burn from the hills near the coffee farms and knew it was bad - to me, it felt like I imagine the fleeing Israelites must have when they looked back at the Temple and the city of Jerusalem when they were set ablaze by the Romans in 70AD... or the Library in Alexandria. Lahaina was a unique and special place, and words can't express the sense of loss...not just to me but for everyone who was ever touched by it.

Thank you for everything you're doing. I can't get past FEMA staying in the Four Seasons & the other two high dollar hotels/resorts when there are homeless families & individuals. They turned away retired firemen who were out there volunteering. FEMA was inside of an air conditioned tent & refused them food & water. Absolutely despicable! & the mayor & chief of police...mayor ignored the journalist & the chief violated many laws & the man's 1st ammendment right when he put his hands on him for asking a simple question! It was shocking to witness. To find out the chief is now the coroner too as of the past month?! How is that not a conflict of interest?! This municipality, chief, mayor & govenor all stink as does the coward who didn't sound the alarms & the other lowlife who withheld turning the water on to "preserve resources," & police blocking exits out of town, the list goes on. Praying for assistance, strength, perseverance & answers for the survivors. 🕊

Haunting, those images are and will ever be. Inexplicable how among many burned buildings, a house or business here or there appear untouched. I think it's safe to say that all Americans, especially those of us who have been to Lahaina, grieve with you over this enormous loss.
