I hope both island would be fine. Aren’t there like cover ups so that the animals can cover up in and snuggle with each other. Hopefully all the animals will be okay.
How do you get those emergency alarms? I know my friend in JP lives near your area, but she hasn't gotten any, and I wonder why and how she could get them, I was really worried about her safety yesterday.. Can you maybe make a video about such stuff? Like what to look out for, tips and tricks and yada yada, some lifehacks? I think it would help a lot of people, but thank you for giving us insight too like this, you don't know how much I appreciate it, I've so many friends in JP I am just so worried about them and from some, I havent heard back...
im loving the new shane dawson videos, like im learning so much about the whole business side of things, and you can ee how much he enjoys making makeup. Im gonna spend all my money on the shane x jeffree collab
I totally relate to this video because there's hurricanes every year here where I live and lol your switch between freaking out and chilling is so real. Also, glad to know I'm not the only one who gets super sleepy on rainy days.
i couldn’t get all of it, but her screen literally said “take action to save your own life”- i’m stressed for you and i’m watching this months after you uploaded it.
Glad you're safe. I'm up in Fukushima prefecture, and my town was also quite safe, my part of my town (Ishikawa) wasn't flooded, but other parts of my town were flooded a bit and some people's homes were damaged/things ruined, but overall I think everyone managed to stay safe and evacuate when they needed to. This typhoon is the most rain I've seen in my life, and I was super scared. The rain noise was so loud I couldn't make out my town announcements same as you, and felt really lucky I had people who messaged me to make sure I was safe. I know other towns and cities near me were so much less fortunate and still have massive flooding. I've lived in Ishikawa town for over 4 years and every year for various reasons I've felt so lucky to live where I do, and this year is no different. (Side note, you look great). I was glad to see this video because it made me sure you were okay and that your area was probably mostly fine.
Also yeah, "pain Olympics" are super annoying 100%. There's no need to do that. Again, glad to see you're safe, or at least were when you uploaded, and I hope you still are.
I've always wanted to move to Japan. I'm like, in the beginning of high school, and I'm the kind of person who, if I pet a dog, and it bites my hand off, I'd take my other hand and keep petting it, so like, this was a good-to-know video, and I actually really liked it. I hope everyone is safe, I hope everyone's okay~ Have a good day~!
This video was very educational and useful, you really taught me that for the next time there’s a typhoon and I’m in japan that I have to stay calm xxx
Mikan looks like an angel even though she's been at home all day, even though she has zero make up on, even though she was super bored the whole time, even though she was in a scary situation all by herself. She is still glowing!
Omg I'm just realising how lucky I am to live in England because we never have bad issues, only flooding. Even though you were freaking out, you're very brave and I hope you and Japan can recover
My brother went on a trip to Japan (we're from the US) and he just so happened to be there during the typhoon. He picked a fine time to go but it's a good thing he's safe and he had fun.
Happy you and your friends are ok! But for future, even if you're high up and it's not going to reach your level on 3rd floor, you should evacuate so you don't get trapped in your building or street because you won't be able to get down without having to go through flood water. It's also pretty dangerous to walk through flood water when it gets deep as you can get swept away etc. Flood water can rise and move ridiculously fast. (I live in an area that gets flooded and cyclones a lot too).
I’m currently living in japan in Kanazawa which is in the Ishikawa prefecture. And I got just a bunch of run and wind! But I’m glad you were okay I know everyone was very worried for all of Japan !
I could hear it in like sheets of rain, I live In Columbus Georgia so every time there is a hurricane in Florida we get awful tropical storms. I know how scary that is and I’m sorry you had to deal with that mess! I hope your friends are all ok!
Glad you're safe. Never been through something like that myself. I guess you have some stories to share with your children one day. My daughter experienced her first California earthquake the other day too. She said it was neato. Stay safe. We need more people like you in the world.
This was an interesting video to watch! I'm actually very impressed with the fact that you were able to do homework while being distracted by the oncoming typhoon... all I wanted to do was some housework but I couldn't because I was on edge all day... getting the emergency alerts and being constantly updated by my mum (who's living in Malaysia) did not help. Also, everytime I got an emergency alert (I'm in my first month of studying Japanese so my kanji sucks), I could not understand and had to screenshot and send to my boyfriend to translate for me. 🥴 When the typhoon finally did hit, the entire sharehouse shook for like 30 minutes or so, I'm just glad that we didn't have to evacuate and that we still had water and electricity by the end. But my heart truly goes out to those who suffered from the damage inflicted upon their homes and belongings.
One time my school was asked to evacuate the dorms me and most of the school didn’t because... I live on the 10th floor... and my school is at the top of a mountain I don’t think we will be flooded
me but tornado weather bc i live in tornado alley. we literally sat on the porch and watched one in the distance during the last big set. just checking out our impending doom and going "woah"
I live on the first floor near a river and decided not to evacuate. I'm from Houston so I actually just checked the river every couple of hours and decided it was ok. I slept like a baby through the typhoon because it reminded me of home. 😅 Unfortunately, another river in my city overflowed so I hope I'd have had the good sense to actually leave if I'd lived in that area...
I live in the uk and feel extremely luck had wind and rain warnings all day winds are 15mph and not even extreme just a mild gale i would be having a panic attack if we had typhoon my heart goes out to you and japan ❤❤
All the things happening at once! Jeezz as a person who lives in a typhoon area I feel you!! We only worry for typhoons level 3 or more! And I know what it feels be in a typhoon alone, And the one in Japan is level 5? I was just in Japan like 3-2 weeks ago, and there was a typhoon but not like this one! I hope you are safe!!!
That’s why it’s important to have a go-bag(s) already set as well. Just in case if your asked to evacuate immediately, you can have some of your belongings and necessities with you. Stay safe 🤗
Mikan: pancakes are too sweet, i need something salty to eat with them. Uhg the batter smells so sweet My American Ass: maple syrup and fruit because pancakes arent sweet enough I felt relieved when I saw her put maple syrup and banana on it though ahahaha ;v; Im not entirely messed up with American diet
I've been looking for some RU-vidrs to are somewhat in the Japanese range I don't know why I've been trying to learn Japanese but OMG I crossed your channel and I'm obsessed
If you need a workout - crunches every time she says she's nervous, worried or anxious. If you want to have fun - take a shot every time she says she's nervous, worried or anxious. You'll be wasted before the video is a quarter done.
Im so much inspired by your hard work...you save 3 years to shift Japan...I imagine your time that you have to work another 6 hours after 7 hours of class...I mean I used to spend 3 hours on my class and I fell so tired whole day..
I live in super landlocked Chicago so this is actually really interesting to me! The only kind of natural disasters we'd ever get here are blizzards, and possibly tornadoes (but that happens more out in the country). Do all these announcements come from like, government trucks just rolling through the city? That's such a strange concept to me, I don't think we have any public notification system like that!
well... it was not that bad... look at nagano... shingasen is under the water.... well.... it just not that bad.... I jetwash my shoe with typhoon wind....
I live where we don't have typhoons at ALL and hardly any other natural disasters lol and even my blood pressure was thRU THE ROOF watching this and all the others. XD
People robbing in japan be like.. Robber : ima rob this rich asian.. *breaks in* Asian man : KONNICHIWA, AKEKSKSDKCK ME KONGFU *speaks foreign* Robber : oh shi* im out..
I think this is very interesting because I'm living in Germany and in Germany we don't have typhoons (not in my city). It's interesting to see how people in Japan are handling the situation and I really enjoyed watching this Video 👍
I also only know floodings and really strong wind but no typhoons because well I live in the middle of Germany and even those flooding usually happen around my city and never in my city.
