I am a mexican living in the UK and your videos make me miss home so much. especially the sun! haha. If you have the chance to visit again, I would recommend going to the Tulum ruins and Merida, beautiful city with wonderful food and architecture. Glad to see you are enjoying x

The resort does look very nice. I agree that I like the ability to walk outside the resort without needing a taxi. Still looks like you had a relaxing time. ❤
Taxi 20 pound each way? We stayed in near Tulum and it cost us less than 5 dollars for both of us to Playa del Carmen on the colectivo bus We stayed at Bahia principe
When we came out of hotel there was nothing around us, so no option apart from taxis, no negotiating the price was the price. Returning from playa de Carmen there was room for negotiation but not a lot In it. Bus sounds good.
@@steveandcarole The colectivo are not big buses. They are mini vans with about 20 seats max. They stop outside every hotel on the main road. You just need to wait for one or ask one of the Hotel staff where they stop. Obviously don't ask the hotel reception, maybe someone at the bar or restaurant.
