I think the dev should allow the player to drag out the roof to fit their build similar to how the stairs are done. Imo this would allow more flexibility for creative and custom base builds.

To the Dev, nice job on the new cabin assets, very nice; more building options will drive more Steam sales, so things like horizontal half walls to customise the height of interior builds, stairs and banisters, large beams, arched wooden structural beams etc. It would be great if you could make the roof asset adjust to the width of the building, or if we could set anchor points on both sides and then just adjust the height. GE made some valuable suggestions, that we would all like to see. The door is VERY nice indeed. Just wanted to say nice job.

You can get into the keycard Locke building in the army base. Go around as close to the building as you can, a chair will be available to sit in, sit in the chair and you will be in the building. The doos will open from the inside.

Fun episode i really do love this game, i noticed at 25:28 the floorboards in the white house are going the wrong way, lol im surprised it hasn't driven you crazy GE. Thanks GE you're the best!

See if you can make the second floor roof over the stairs and the section at the top of the stairs (2 full walls x 1 full wall) and put two roof sections over that, then just put railings around the rest of it and you can have an upstairs patio for whatever stuff you want to put there. That is, IF the walls will actually snap into place. Lol

Might need to put the roof end pieces on first for the roof to have something to snap to. I am also holding steady on the idea of the mannequin name being Sally or Sally 2.0

You still have the axe in your hand. When you pick up logs with the axe in you hand it will still chop them

so you can double door with the half wall door more or less any way as well as off center door for design especially as interior rooms dont need a center wall door or have so many more windows with double wall windows now can you put walls half between a full block as in small rooms or can the quad foundation do that maybe

You don't need logs in your inventory to build walls, just carry them. If you can't destroy what you built does that mean the infected can't too and could you then use that to build defenses around your base?

Maybe the f Quad roof only works on the quad foundation and walls but the other roof top works for the normal foundation???

GE enjoying the DevTest also So I played it some also cannot figure out how to delete or move the new Building pieces. Love the look of them he did well on that gonna need some tweaks but I'm sure we can all give him help! MIST is a Great game & Has SO MUCH Potential!! Hopefully he brings us More & More!! I found a few Axes around the map mainly same side as white house looted. The bigger military/housing place is just down the road a ways from ya. Decent lot there least there was last time LOL!! It def needs some love & work but Seems like the Dev is definitely up to it & moving forward!! Multiplayer gonna be fun!! Keep the great Episodes coming!! P.S. You should revisit Sons Of The Forest Many updates with lots of Goodies and such!! Thanks for the videos!

I'm thinking that you may have to build the walls first and then come back and put in the flooring. For example, put in all your first and second story walls, and then come back putting in the second story floor.. As to the roofing, I think there should be more pieces to use in your build as not everyone is going to build a box as their home. Have a Great pne!!!

I know this is late but the piece of flooring you couldn't place was most likely due to it was attached to nothing since you hadn't built the other pieces yet and it wasn't attached to walls like every other piece was

should be able to toggle snap on and off. Also agree that it is very annoying, nightmarish actually having to re enter the build menu again every single time😟😱🤯

real question, do some games offer the ability to toggle the snap on and off? Sort of making a 3x3 but have each row a different height? Or just the middle one different? Some really cool designs could be done.

Dev did a good job with the look of the walls, floors, and especially the door. @GameEdged, do you think that placing the gables first would help in the placement of the roof atop them (the triangle piece)? Enjoyed the video!

fuel in that generator works. I have had 100% fuel for 20+ game loads.

The car part in the tricycle may have been for a wheel but could have been miscoded as a random car part spawn.

Since it is a random part, it could also be counting the metal tubing the bike is made from? Repair brace or support something? I know we don't have welding stations to show what we are doing, but anything is possible.

You're in an infected world and you're able to build your own base why not have retractable stairs

what happened to this game? i played it few years back and it looked much better back then. did they change the engine or something? its weird. it is probably still great game as it was before, but this surprised me that it looks far worse after years in development. I am actually checking my old screenshots i have when i played it in 2019 and it looked much better.
