I interned as a UX Designer at Tesla in Winter and Spring on the Digital Experiences Team, which is based in Fremont, CA. I had a phenomenal time working with designers, product managers, and engineers at Tesla. The constant challenges I face at work every day prove to be an indicator of growth and constant improvement towards my grit as a designer. Also, I've learned that Elon Musk is a pretty chill guy!

WHO AM I?
I'm a national fencing champion who's training for the LA Olympics 2028, and Product Designer working at Twitch. I've designed at Facebook, Tesla previously and love sharing my passion for design through content creation. When I'm not in Figma designing, I create mashups under my artist name, SKYWALKER, and produce original music in hopes of performing at Coachella one day.

Hi, Im new in the field & Outside US To be selected for internship what skills you already had ? / what did you study previously? also as UX designer meaning you studied the display interface? or the UX of the car?

If you are applying for a UX Designer role, you would typically need a solid understanding of the design process; being able to map out the design process from defining a problem, conducting research as to why the problem exists, to coming up with potential ideas to solve the problem. On top of that, being proficient in design/prototyping tools such as Figma, Principle, and Sketch is important in showcasing your ability to execute your ideas into something visual.

Hey Dalton! I interned with Tesla during the pandemic so there wasn't an option for me to choose. However, this surprisingly worked well for me considering I did school + internship at the same time. :)
