Or because she’ll miss your jokes?
But why can’t she forget
Those songs and late night talks
You told her you like her eyes
And her heart felt like it would burst
She stopped herself from smiling
But at pretending she’s the worst
She was drawn to you
Like the moth loves the fire
She wanted to tell you this
But now you’re up the sky
Maybe she was too late
Maybe not this time
But in another life
