Can we have another marriage/wife talk video 🙏🏼 Your previous one has literally changed my every day… husband comes home to a joyful wife after asking him what he wants after a long days work. So encouraging 🙏🏼
@@thisgoldenhour I’d love to hear your take on Goals in marriage. How to submit and support your husband in his decisions for the family. Intimacy, scriptures you pray over him…etc 😊 You could talk about carrots and it would inspire us 😅
My mom was born in 1930 and grew up on a farm. We always let the beds 'air out' for awhile before making them . We also weren't allowed to store our pj's under our pillow (that was a thing in the 60's and 70's) because they needed to air out too. Regardless I am always changing my sheets at least once a week 😀And I am also surprised by how many people don't seem to use a mattress pad? They just put the fitted sheet right on the mattress? I have never done that.
Lovely video! Just a side note for the chocolate- if you add melted(warm) chocolate to the chilled dough you basically negate the hard work of chilling and rolling. If you add the room temperature chocolate pieces, you allow the dough to properly rise and you maintain the flaky layers…and let’s face it…you deserve those flaky layers after all that rolling and chilling.
Today my day holds laundry, general cleaning, homeschooling my five children, and making dinner. For dinner where having mashed potatoes, with a bean stew and homemade bread.
I made us pancakes from scratch, watered my rosebush and a couple other plants in containers, and changed aquarium water. What a beautiful view from your kitchen window!
Every week when I change our sheets, I let the mattresses air out for about 4 hours- I open the curtains so the sun is shining onto the beds and with the right weather the windows are open. Nothing better than an Aires out mattress and fresh sheets! Cooking from scratch not only tastes better but the cook’s heart is in it so it makes it even better!
I was wondering where your mattress cover was, it keeps the yucky at bay untill you air out your mattress. It goes under your sheet. Love your vlog look forward to them !!!
Friday’s are my catch up day where I get things that I haven’t been able to do. It’s just me and my partner and our 3 four legged kids! Love to know your beauty routine and so you have a weekly routine?
Love you so much! Your shows are such an inspiration to me! Your beautiful home! Your sourdough baking, I’m taking notes and trying it out! Your gardening I’ve learned so much, everything about your show is so good, thank you so much for sharing your everyday fun life with me. It’s uplifting and the gospel music I also love.
So nice to see your video! So many children and you look soooo fresh, and also take care of a farm and a house. Can you maybe show how you do with your hair? I love it! Helene from Sweden
Ah ah yes traditionnaly « pains au chocolat » are rectangle with one or two chocolat bars, at list in France, but yours looks such a nice twist !! Of course we let thé bed breath my grandma would have a heart attack if I don’t 😂 Hi from France ! Love your video !!!
Love your homemaking life videos. You are such a godsend to all of us. God bless you and your 👪 family. 😍😍😍😍 keep the videos coming. Love your wholesome life😍😍😍😍
Yes I always wait a few hours to make my bed to air the mattress. I learned it from Ma Ingalls 😉 I drink my coffee , then get dressed and combed then make my bed .Would you please share the neighbors rose advice ? I love roses and have a number of plants . This year we are in a drought and my roses were infested with thrips 😮😢
I love at the beginning when it looks like you’re working in your kitchen with just the sunlight streaming in. That is my favorite - we recently put a bigger and brighter light in for cooking when it’s darker outside in fall but opening both curtains and letting all the sun in is my absolute favorite. It’s so calming. 😊❤ Love your videos, thank you for sharing!
Good day! One of your chats in your living room I noticed your philodendron plants on your bookshelf, beautiful! please tell me how you keep them from getting thinned out and leggy at the top. How do you keep them?
Happy anniversary!!!❤️❤️💐💐 Your videos bring such joy in everything you do, those Croissants look amazing, I know you and your family really enjoyed them, another great video!!
I'm new to your channel and when you went outside I was thinking, oh that looks like PA kinda of landscape. And then you mentioned Amish and I was like I wonder if the description has a location. And it says PA lol That farm is just beautiful. Do you have a video on how you guys got the farm? A family farm, bought it? Just curious
Your videos are very encouraging!! I love when you give out new ideas on sourdough I have tried many of your recipes and they always turn out well and delicious! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤❤ God bless and a happy anniversary!!
thank you for sharing this 🤍 I am so inspired. some of what little I see of your life are dreams of mine. I am so happy for you. Congratulations to you and Josh on celebrating eleven years of marriage 🤍
Today I canned some whole strawberries for the first time! It was a skill I have been super interested in learning! You literally described exactly how I felt about trying to make sourdough croissants 🤣 I absolutely love croissants, but after seeing the in depth directions was too intimidated to try! This definitely looks more manageable! Beautiful video!❤
HAPPY THURSDAY Steph, family, and all the fur babies. Thanks for all the inspiration and motivation. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY; WHAT GOD HAS PUT TOGETHER LET NO MAN ASUNDER. STTB
I am so excited to make croissants now!! I love them and have been wanting to make them for a while but was very intimidated by them. But not any more after your video, thank you so much!! ❤
I actually am quite jealous of women who are allowed to be strictly homemakers. We farm but my husband needs my help on the farm besides me trying to keep up on household chores/baking/cooking/homeschooling (I do year round). I milk the cows because my husband didn’t want dairy cows (only have 4). He deals with our beef cattle/hay cutting/bailing while I help move bales. During harvest I am mostly in the semi so I can run food out to the field when I get back from dumping load and the youngest rides with me so we then do our lesson for the day. Very cute outfits!
Just found your channel and I LOVE it! I feel like we’re kindred spirits in the Lord with our similar interest and values and zeal for life! I, too, have four littles all under 9 and share so many of these passions and values for my family. 🌻🩷God bless you, Sister, and keep shining for Him in all that you do as a proverbs 31 woman living fully for Him. You’ve got a new subscriber!🙏👏 PS- the kittens bottle feeding were so cute! Was it just for fun or did they lose their mama? Your girls must’ve adored it.
