Hi Hyro I am hoping you can do a brief video on Palapas on the island. There seems to be a confusion on where and is all palapas free for guest as in first come first serve. Are you able to discuss this in a upcoming video?
@@LetsgowithHyro just noticed it has been a big topic on social media group pages. I wonder if anyone who does beach patrol would be willing to share what is what. I fo remember you talking about if the palapa’s are marked with a R means reserved and ones with a P is public. On Eagle beach i found some not marked but we brought our own chairs and no one tried to kick us out even though a hotel person was there giving some guests chairs to sit under them.
I love this video. The music was so relaxing and it was so nice to see how you all spend your days. I’m quite amazed at Marlène’s creativity. Congrats to her for finding something creative to do that is supporting the beautiful island of Aruba. I am so grateful to be here as a visitor in Aruba. I hope to come and visit you at the market on Tuesday. Happy carnival Hyro Marlene and family! 😊
I just arrived in Aruba yesterday. Palm Beach has more seaweed than normal and some spots are rocky when entering the water. We are headed to baby beach tomorrow
7:43 I was thinking the same thing, lived there for the first18 years of my life and I never actually went up the tower. Just goes to show some of the things we as locals never think about doing.
I’ve yet to visit the Fort Zoutman Museum, on the list for next time. I also enjoy the scavenger hunt for the hand painted rocks as well, keep it going and the handcrafted sea turtles are freaking awesome 👍🏼
Thank you dear friend! The Fort Zoutman is well worth a visit in our opinion. We will be putting more of these rocks around😊 Glad to hear you liked the handcrafted sea turtle by Marleen!
Enjoy crafting and creating things myself, love the upcycling projects and beautiful pieces you’ve created. Such a sweet idea to leave the colored rock for visitors to find. Interesting point about “perspectives”….how tourists would lament a cloudy day on the island yet Arubans would appreciate a day with less ☀️ once in awhile. It’s important in life that we consider that our perspective isn’t the only one. Aruba makes so many people happy. ❤️
Ok so I was just at Baby Beach and sir, you have a doppelgänger!! I had to ask the guy if he was you he smiled and said no. Are you sure that wasn’t you, lol?!!!
Thanks for the lovely video Hyro and Marleen. We were just in Aruba for 2 weeks and flew back home to Canada on Friday. We have been visiting every year since 2012 and have never before experienced the type of high winds that churned up the ocean overnight on Feb 6th. What a mess of seaweed left all over Palm Beach and in the waters edge. The waves were very high and strong over the next couple of days. They even removed planks from the pier to prevent it from being broken up by the strong waves. I love being in the ocean but it was too rough and the resort issued warnings. We have always experienced very consistent sunny and warm weather when we’re there. Hopefully this was just an unusual event and is not a sign of things to come!
Your videos are always so well put together, entertaining and informative. We will definitely be checking out some of the places you highlighted (especially the tower looks very cool!). I'll take a cloudy day in Aruba over a cold, snowy day in Canada any time 😉
Nice video. It was also nice to meet you at Boca Catalina Beach near the high waves. Marleen artworks also look very beautiful. Will soon go to Santos on Tuesday. Greetings, Pedro Klooster
Hey Hyro, love the quality of the videos especially the music! I see you have listed them in the description but I cant find them, where do you find the music? Also cant wait to be back in May 🌴
A day doesn't go by that I don't check to see if you have another vlog. My wife and I Really enjoyed this tour. Will be seeing you soon. You and Marleen make every day full of sunshine.
